  • thanks for the reply...i didnt expect to hear that buildign materials were being moved...i live between nashville and jackson tn. on interstate 40 and i dont see near the same traffic on the roads that was there 5 yers ago....all i see is commodities being moved...food and fuel...not much in the way of industrial equipment or building materials...it seems that most of the stuff is just consumeables.

  • @centervilletn Yeah, my thoughts as well...You can't tell what's in the vans but mostly commodities and consumeables. Trucking definitely took a major downturn and 1000's of small companies went out of business. I'll get a hold of the a pretty good monthly paper they have at the trucks stops and start making a monthly video...Good to hear from you

  • tell me what sort of freight are you seeing moved? what is the volume?..are you seeing buildign materials being moved? what sort of freight is being moved the most?

  • @centervilletn Hi ! - When you look around at the roads of America, all day long...The first thing you see is a helluva alot of trucks, everwhere...Every major city is basically a major pain in the ass to navigate through, it doesn't look like there is a major depression underway...This perspective changes dramatically when you start to move through the smaller towns, alot of closed and vacant building...There's not much that i see in the way of bldg supplies
