I beat the full version of this game way back in the day. It was hard as balls! It took me countless hours, and 2 broken joy-sticks, but it was worth it.
My question is, was this this 3rd installment of the series? If so, can someone direct me to the first two?
@gubercc411 Fury 3 was a standlone game. The 3 in the title presumably refered to the 3 dimensions that the game had. There are however two other similar games, Terminal Velocity (came before) and Hellbender (that came afterwards). If you liked Fury 3 you may want to check them out as well.
I used to play this with my brother when I was 6 years old! I held down the fire button and my brother flew. It was like playing twister on a keyboard..... Best, memory, ever.
I was browsing through my Program Files on my ultra-modern Windows 7 machine and I found this gem from the past. I decided to load ol' FURY3.EXE on my computer. . .and it still works!
Booted up a save from L24-D and profoundly enjoyed the nostalgic greatness for 10 glorious minutes. Then I lost control of my ship as my computer rebooted.
Bottom line, my Windows 7 machine couldn't handle the awesomeness that is Fury3 for more than 10 minutes.
In the w95 demo I flew all around that planet and made it my quest to find new uncharted zones. There was a big patch of green that resembled the ussr, and a big canyon that would eventually point you towards the big long pyramid structure... I wanted to destroy every last thing I could find. The best thing about the game was the music, and the DEBRIS
@herrcobblermachen did exactly the same thing. and also with Monster Truck Madness, which also had open-ended racing tracks. oh damn these were the times!
I only had the trial version, but I always wanted to play the full game. 2011 and the game is still $20. Testament to it's quality. The music is outstanding and the gameplay was great for it's time. Thanks for this post.

I was 6 years old when I finished this game, and I still remember that cobra at the end of the game.
