Did you use Fraps to record this? I've tried numerous times to get Fraps to record Steem and failed :/

This is recorded via the built in recording option in SainT. For STEem I use Camtasia Studio. If you're wanting a free recording utility CamStudio is supposed to be good and it's free.

I managed to record a short video on STEem using ZD soft game recroder, but i'll check out SainT too.

does this port contain the defensive section, or did they get rid of it?

The defensive section is played when you don't destroy everything on a level.

It looks more like a space station your defending but essentially yes.

I have this game for Steem too. But i remember playing this game on the Atari ST which seems a life time ago :(

And yes the music is awesome, my friend taped the music once while he played, he was better than me lol. Pity when you shoot, parts of the music always cut out until you stop.

I remember this game had a sampled intro music that was not bad at all. It probably took at least half of the disk :)
