  • i want to know what the input is

  • gr8 :)

  • It'd be ironic to play Terminator with this... lol

  • really interesting :)

  • good technology guys.... but i think this is very useless... just cause your holding bags or running doesnt mean that you need wires up your ass to read how your butt checks move to change tracks on your ipod.... i like the wireless idea... but even then, stuff like this should read brain wave pulsewidth modulation... to levitate things... lol but seriously lets tap into the brain to let a pc understand the frequencies i give off when i want to change or pause a track.

  • ofcoz it's possible!

  • RONALDO

  • I published this video on the Dutch website WELSTIJL (5 january) kind regards Sem Mallee

  • this is obviously a preview for the new star wars movie coming out

  • is possible*

  • 20 years ago, nobody thought that a luke skywalker arm isnt possible, now you can see a forerunner of this on youtube, thats pretty sick imo

  • fuckin james bond shit. awesome.

  • this brings more problens than it solves.

  • @635574 Oh please. It's backwards fundamentalist bullshit like that that keeps things from moving forward.

Go back to your fuckin caves and throw rocks at that big shiny thing in the sky at night.

  • not bad. this guy comes up with really clever technology that actually has practical potential. this could definitely be expanded to the point where it is quite useful, providing it is accurate.

  • Too many problems with this system. It would be too easy to accidentally 'activate' something and not know it. You couldn't easily switch between 'devices'. If you replaced your mouse with this system, there would have to be a way to disable it every time you went to use your keyboard or something.

It might be viable for things like game controllers, but they're seriously underestimating the need for tactile feedback on things like analog joysticks.

  • @neosapience3000 So says you! Mr NON science guy who has acheived nothing. Come back when you're more than a youtube commenter

  • That's too many?

  • What about the disabled?

Depending on how senstive it is this could be a godsend for them.

  • Cool

  • I can see he porn industry exploiting this technology. You saw what they did with urine? Yah, they turned it into fetish.Sickoos!!

  • So what if you have a fat arm.

  • There is no problems...

  • @BlackShaunWhite then its a reason to get slim xd

  • Not bad, but it could do with being in a less clunky format. Put it in a watch band to make it easy to put on and take off.

  • With the right software it could help severely handicapped people to control the computer . I hope you will be successful !

  • It's possible to control a computer with your eyes already. Search for COGAIN on youtube if you want to see demo's and stuff ;)

  • OMG!!!!

  • Hmm, combine this with that brain sensor, and you got a pretty neat controller

  • Great technology!

  • I think if it will use like new controller in games like Guitar Hero, it won`t be great. But in shooters or RPG it will be useful thing.

  • hahaha 0:55 FAIL!!!

  • It wasn't a FAIL. The computer was collecting data, like the narrator said. In other words, he was calibrating the device.

  • think he was just talking about the fact he missed his finger and looked like a retard...

  • I would love to see you create something better, I'd bet YOU fail in your attempts!

  • lol, I said fail to franky0sic, not to the vid.

  • so true

  • Air Guitar Yeah!! (H)

  • Impressive. But what if you cannot move fingers? What about using arms/legs muscles? Anyway, this tech looks superb to me. Militaries will certainly find your project quite interesting ;)

  • you wont need fingers to move some muscles. if you cant have fingers, just move the sensors to different muscles.

  • Ricejuh ur just retarded, its called guitar hero because it simulates the experience of playing a guitar, whithout the plastic guitar u can still air guitar, u dont want to use it its OK, there are still people who use windows 98.

  • there are still people that never used a telephone. lol

  • Cool!!!

  • the idea is not play guitar hero, it is a demo, so people like you could understand

  • I understand what the idea is and I also understand what you mean. It is just that when i play a videogame, i like to have something in my hands. I prefer to press buttons to navigate instead of waving my hand in the menu.. But hey, thats just me.

  • ricejuh, yea your comment is really .....WTF

  • ...... so what you're saying is you have Spice Girls among your tracks? XD

  • Anyone who says they don't is a LIAR.

  • your voice sounds like the guy from wii headtracking

  • The ability to sense hand movements and gestures would be a perfect input method for the deaf who use American Sign Language as their primary communication method. Granted, mapping these movements to actual ASL language would be difficult, especially in comparison to simple Guitar Hero controls. Perhaps starting with the ASL alphabet would be reasonable.
