@nuladee the power of the mind is much more potent than you realize or give credit for; if you dont know how to tap into that, then it's your loss. The thing is, some people can do it by sheer will (ignore pain, discomfort that would kill or seriously injure other people) while other people must convince themselves by self-brainwashing to put belief into a little charm. The amulet is not protecting anyone, the power of the mind is. The "magic" is in the belief.

@DragonballZ22368 As a practising buddhist I'm not totally disputing the process here, it's the application of the belief I'm questioning. One thing buddhism stands for, in my understanding, is rationality. I don't really see this as rational cos as you say, "people must convince themselves by self-brainwashing to put belief into a little charm". 'Believing' in the power of the charm vs 'knowing' & applying the power of the mind...To me that is where some ignorance lies in this amulet business.

@initiald22 It looks like a rubber knife to me, too. At one point you can even see the tip of the knife bend! Watch closely @ 3:06-3:09 when he stops briefly and appears to stab into the guy's upper right shoulder. You can see the tip of the knife bend!

No doubt the power of the mind is incredible, and if you believe in something you can withstand things "normal" people can't, but this video seems rather like a hoax to me. Just being honest, no offense to any religion.

this thai master sucks. he is bleeding and there are marks, if it really works there should be no marks at all even right after slicing him and obviouslly no blood. I have seen monks do the real thing. this master sucks
