God loves all men but really Mr Prosch's song does not help anyone. Many years ago he sang a song about preacher men shutting their mouths and love being all we need. That's lies, corrupted theology and a delusion that will damn multitudes. Men need the biblical gospel, they need repentance, they need faith in God and Jesus Christs atoning work upon the cross, they need the Holy Ghost regenerating them and making them new creations. God loves men but that does not stop them from going to hell.

Thats not what God himself says. 134 times through out scripture God commands or blesses men to fear him. The fear of God is the begining of wisdom according to scripture. I suspect that hurlbone , you have invented your own god, scripture and means of salvation. Even Mr Prosch once sing about the fear of the Lord being the christian's standard. I suppose that is one he has now sadly dropped? For the fear of God is what keeps men from sin.

Jesus says in John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Self praise is no reccomendation and 30 words is not enough but i love Christ enough to keep his holy word.

By the way if any one fails to keep Christ's commandments then his verbalisation of love towards God means nothing to God. The love that Christ accepts from anyone is directly tied into his obedience to God through his Holy scriptures. Jesus said "why call me Lord Lord if you do not do the things i say?" LK. 6:46

Charismatic? been there did that for about 19 years. I hold to a reformed theology for the most part as should any reborn saint. You greatly err by thinking that a man who believes in the cessation of CERTAIN gifts ( tongues , prophecy , words of knowledge) has not the Spirit of God.)
