  • Ride in water bye bye $38298292939232932938923.00 wheel. Thus it is shit.

  • Reminds me of akira a little bit

  • @shellsuitstrangler "Aww...and I was just warming up my coils!" LOL

  • hahahaha japanese always has the latest stuff. I guess this is because of their language.

  • VVVFインバータつけてみたいwww

  • mua cái này ở đâu nhỉ

  • すごい、すごいとしか言えない

  • goood shit

  • This would be great for aircraft engines!

  • vibration ???? change lapt time 3,6,9, ... stop vibration

  • vibratión ???? change lapt time 3,6,9, ... stop vibration

  • 音がかっこいいね。

  • Then why leave the brake disc on the hub......rolling road; break the road..if it is a breaking system why leave the break. If you just wanted breaking the neo-magnets would suffice...their attraction to each other is used in a few emergency breaking systems.

  • @Dookiedolf I'm sorry I did not write that, and I think what you wrote is pretty close to what is happening in that video, but the truth is that the magnetic field strength is affected by the angle of contact with the magnets, so the torque is also affected T = rF and F = ILBSin (a). Then when they move away (coils), the torque decreases as power remains the same (probably three phase), and thus increases the angular velocity P = Tw ... w = P / T.

Ahh...the ignorant bliss of the narrow minded intellectual. Surely it is they who invent new things. (sarcasm)

  • 始まりの音が209系に聞こえました。

  • I've also noticed:

Scuffing on the tyre tread, so its definately connected to a rolling road ( either powering the wheel or measuring speed/hp ).

At the very end of video the wheel rocks back n forth which is a definate characteristic of a magnet field. If this was a motor the power is cut when wheel stopped so rocking wouldnt occur. This can only be explained by power still supplied to brake and the rolling road is stopped.

  • Impressive StarFox

  • That's how an old mechanic guy would do it.

An electronics guy would use pulsed CMOS transistors.

  • Wow why so crazy noisy? They gotta work on gettting that motor to be efficient. Electric motors barely make any noise when designed the right way.

  • @Gunner3210 Ever thought of neither the wheel or engine beeing the reason of the noise but the testing device they run on?

Might want to give it a thought, huh?

  • 好厲害的科技

  • WOWWWW! CONGRATZZZ!!!!

  • what next? better battery?

  • PERFECT!!!!!!!!

  • Yes!! The petrol is not neccesary now!!!

  • @MrRussto yeaaah man, I agree you, petrol is not necesary, never again, hell yeaaah !!!!

  • beautiful motor

  • だいたい何キロぐらいでるんですか?

  • I want!! I so want this! =D

What the hell, i can just make it, holy shit i allready got the parts... some of them, but this is as far as i can go :/

    I need help...

  • it looks cool but I don't get it. does moving the coils out mean the EMF constant is lower so a given voltage can drive it faster?

  • @DanFrederiksen that is my question also?anyone have an idea?

  • @DanFrederiksen I suspect its actually a brake. I think the wheel is being powered on a rolling road. The further the coils are moved out of the drum, the lower the magnetic grab which is why the wheel increases in speed.

  • @Dookiedolf actually the coils are moved out toward the magnet pick up which reacts a to the greater transferal of power increasing the speed of the wheel. Thus making it a variable field magnet motor.

  • @ghettoflyer I dont see the magnet pickup. Where is it ? At 0:15 the electro magnets are clearly visible, but where are the static magnets ? Perhaps Im being blind :S .

I used to work for a company that made motors, brakes & thrusters, they are all pretty much the same thing.

Im "assuming" the magnets are in the hub of the wheel & cannot be seen. If this is a motor & not a brake, it does appear to behave opposite to what I can see.

  • @Dookiedolf you must be american

  • @horaciovc Meaning ? If you think Im being stupid, maybe it would be a good idea to explain why ?

  • @DanFrederiksen I don't think that electricity is being used to drive the wheel but rather the magnetic force is pushing the wheel around. That's my theory.

  • @meadman718

The details are fancy, I'm sure, but it's an electric motor. That much is clear.

Yes, magnetism is involved as electricity and magnetism are linked together. Read about electromagnetism and the electric motor. Magnets alone cannot power a motor (or anything else for that matter).

  • FUUUUUUCCCKKKKK AWESOME !

  • le pasaria la lengua. una maravilla

  • なるほど。わからん。

  • i wanna yamaha R6 with dat will bebe ;D

  • I would test it in WA for them im rapped with the idea.

  • EXCELLENT WORK.

  • звук вообще охрененный!

  • @dishno1234

    i think it can easily

i mean e-motors are much stronger than combustion engines

  • Its Time for Fleming's left hand rule

  • The sound of it is exhilarating.

  • The question is.....will it blend?

  • Yay! Now my right foot will have a use again.

  • wow brilliant idea, usually "motor" is found in the engine, connected to the wheel by chains, but this guy made an actual motor on the wheel, good idea, you just have to find a way to protect it from rainy days

  • круто!

  • any one thinking of 'Air Gear' haha

  • Exactly like in akira. Need good batteries for that...

  • ебаа колесо щЩ)))

  • I believe that the Japanese came up with this because that country is the only country with a working mag-lev train, only the mag-lev utilizes linear motion, while this utilizes circular motion.

  • In-wheel motors is the future! Oh no... not future... it is right here, right now and was here before.

  • I can't find anymore info about that magnet motor.

  • @roginooo arent all electric motors run from magnets...

  • muy bueno, sigan adelante.

  • INSANE GOOD PROJECT !

  • good but still primitive .....

  • good but still primitive...

  • Is it Mtn / commuter bike ready?

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOWW!

  • how does it work and what do you need t make one? do you sell the diagrams and or information on how to make one?

  • I admire the japanese for their intelligence and inventions. From the U.S.

  • Comment removed

  • Please give me one of these! I'll be promoting like hell!!!

  • the sound makes me horny

  • Ahora YA saben porqué U:S: utilizó HAARP

  • Listo¡¡ petróleo, adiú ¡¡¡ , futuro benbenuti ¡¡

  • cose?

  • Are these motors for sale?

  • i saw one that go 200 mph eassy

  • i was just looking at electric bikes and was dying to ask why someone didnt try a wheel mounted engine....nevermind

  • If you take apart an old VCR you will find at least two pancake motors inside. They are made exactly the same way this motorbike motor is using numerous small coils. These are brushless and electronically commuted. In the video above, the coils (not magnets) are moved outward at higher speed to reduce the Lenz effect of the coil poles interacting with the rotor magnet. Should be quite efficient, too.

  • wow that's a big no shit on the theory that an engineer designed it....good evaluation dipshit...

  • I want one on my motorbike.

  • SICK!

  • FANTASTIC MOTOR...BEATFULL JOB

  • AMAZING!

  • that could be your wheel and your brake if that was a wheel on the ground you wouldn't need an engine... you get it??

  • I think it would be better for them to minimize the magnetic coil rolls, to duplicate them, then it might produce much power,.enough to carry two or three persons even in slope like roads,.and also an hydrogen coolant, for the magnets.

  • AKIRA!

  • Holy Kwrap Batman Thats Awesome!

I dont know why they mechanically retract the coils to reduce the field instead of just turning down the field current, but wow that wheel really screams.

Building electric motors into the wheels of vehicles means we can have vehicles with no 'internal' drivetrain. Someday all cars will be like this, an electric motor in each wheel.

  • @MrHobiecat

Probably to produce higher top speed with lower torque and current, but i could be mistaken.

Wish I knew what the configuratin of it is. 3 Phase maybe? :(

  • @alexarcano Yes mate, its a 3 phase permanant magnet motor

  • @cheetor5923 must have been designed by a mechanical engineer - very complicated mechanism there to retract the permanent magnets for higher RPM. Reducing the magnetic field results in a lower counter EMF, which allows more current to flow through the motor windings.

You could get the same result, with more high end torque, if you simply used a higher voltage on the motor windings. The same current will flow through the motor

and you dont need to move the magnet array.

  • @MrHobiecat the answer to this is simple, there is no field winding, its a 3 phase permanant magnet motor

  • OMG !!!!! I want one awesome .Where can I get the plans for this :)

  • construction of Kaneda's bike....

  • It's tron, It's tron, It's trooo--oooo--oooon....

  • love the noise it makes as it comes to a stop!

  • wow

  • vroom vroom from the back

  • Looks EXACTLY like a Fisher & Paykel Smartdrive washing machine motor. Lots of them on Youtube.

  • where can I get one of these??

  • Futuristic sound !

  • And if the magnet turn a turbin in pipe cycle closed also the turbin rise more and more with air in movement cycle and rise the power magnet electric .....hello from france.

  • my girl wants one for her vibrator!

  • @rustyjonesjr PERVERT IDIOT !!!

  • @sahaja75 IDIOT PERVERT !!!

  • damned i invented this in my head and now its all in the market damn my ideas is stolen from mind reapers :(

  • Finaly the japanese are starting the production of the Kaneda bike from Akira XD.

  • @BuscaPelaVerdade no way dude i tough of the same freakin shit ... man if i they put that kind of motorcicle on the market i will buy it for sure ...

  • @BuscaPelaVerdade That would be awsome , let's just hope that japan doesn't blow up like in akira :D

  • @BuscaPelaVerdade I swear to god I was just going to say that!

  • I want one for my razor scooter!!!

  • aii simmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • To get the speed are you weakening the field. What does that do to high rpm torque?

    Very nice.

  • yo queiero una

  • I knew it was going to be something amazingly insane just by seeing the japanese characters on the title of this video

  • holy freakin torque monster! insane wobble on that thing

  • JAPAN

  • Where to buy??!

  • super hipper mega cool, all pure clean magnet energy!!!!!!! love it!

  • the most amazing thing i´ve ever seem...i seriusly envy you...just fucking great job....excellent....in the future i want some of your bikes

  • Comment removed

  • This is the Future!!!

  • sounds like bikes from tron movie.

  • hearing that thing rev is so cool, and the RPMs, man oh man that is strong.

  • This is the perfect motor for a real Air Trek roller blade! I so gotta pay you guys to use your patent.

  • were can i contact you guys ???

  • Sexy - I like it.

  • Could this invention bring the end of fuel realted vehicles? I sure hope so

  • @dvdangor Me too, but now we'll need a power source wich will last long enough to take us pretty far

  • so is it toyota, honda, mitsubiti?

  • 94mph of free energy I dont mind

  • this would go perfect on a ufo spacecraft, this will be one of the main propulcions

  • 94 miles an hour? The worlds fastest solar car, the Sunswift IV, Just did 54. I can see Slight increases in speed at least. But Nearly double the speed with the same technology in a short period of time, I say Ashiya over estimated their theoretical specs. Unless they have an on board battery that's allowed to charge before running giving the motor the combined power from the battery and the photovoltaic cells. But's that cheating, the idea is %100 solar power driving the car.

  • @caseygtr I looked into it, because on North American Solar challenge in 2005 we spent the whole race limited by the 65 mph race rules limit and the top 5 teams competed on navigating traffic and lights. Sunswifts record is when just powered by the sun - mostly a function of the array and your aero.

It's likely their top speed is limited by the motor geometry and motor controller.

  • That's not bad. Free energy

  • what if each wheel had one of these? that would have some pull i would believe..

  • hi

  • Just so people know, the top speed is 152km/h or 94.4mph... not as fast as you'd think.

  • Now all these guys need to figure out how to build a lightweight electric source for this thing, and then build an electric bike. That would be frickin' killer.

  • km/h ?

  • @19Brayan87 With the entire solar car assembly done it does roughly 152km/h, or 94.4mph at the max -- on a flat straight.

  • I say add some fire and ... Ghost Rider 2?

  • muy interesante arreglo del motor bedini

  • ai!

  • Completely Awesome. I want one like Yesterday. Funeral On Wheels or not. It'd be worth dying for to see how responsive it could be. Plus, it's better to get to the pearly gates in a flaming pile of wreckage and say Damn , What a Ride!!!!, than to arrive in a body that's hardly ever had any fun and barely worn in.

  • Finally an electric motor that shifts!lol freakin awesome!

  • 可磁モ界変

  • that bike is a funeral on wheels and i would love to take it for a spin..... :)

  • I guess moving the coils varies the amount of electromagnetic force required depending of the velocity of the wheels so that it can spin faster. think of it as drivetrain. for further explanation, the motor will burnout if you start it at maximum speed because the inrush current can burn the coils because it will get overloaded. So it must be started at low speed and gradually increased to the maximum.

  • @nnnnnn7678 the variable field magnet motor is a dual purpose, it is used to spin the wheel and also to stop it from spinning like a braking system, so its like combining the engine and the brakes and placing it at the wheel. If you run out of power while accelerating, the static force of the magnets is enough to hold the wheel from moving further.

  • nnnnnn7678..have u ever drive a car?once u stop at traffic light, does your engine keep running or died?have u ever wondered why your engine keep running even u pressing your brake? .dont be narrow minded.if they can built this magnet motor, dont ever dare to teach them how to control the motor.duhh..

  • Comment removed

  • who its so small 4 a motor to make a weel spin that fast

  • so uh, what does this accomplish?

  • @ivankoran This magnet motor accomplish everything, you wouldn't need to pay for gasoline any more, but it also would be suicide to drive in a magnet motor car or bike because the magnet keeps going forever, and it can get you crash in no time, and after the crash the wheels will still be spinning around. So they gotta work into putting a stop into the brakes.

  • @nnnnnn7678 uh, i don't think that's quite right... what i meant was, It's an electric motor; therefore running off electricity [gotta buy dat] BUT,, what does moving the coils accomplish?

  • Comment removed

  • Please Japanese! Make an electric Electrocycle!!!!! you've already made some of the best cars in the world now do it!!!!!!!!!! I'll buy it!

  • @silkrodd Yeah I agree, Japan please make a mind blowing clean energy machine for the world because my country won't. Show these fools what can be done!

  • REAL Free energy technology exists! But there are very powerfull forces that want to supress the technology,Get a real free energy motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Let the revolution begin!

  • so, what happens when it rains! ?

  • @ramiro420247

    ur a fucking idiot

  • @lolurowned1 I must agree with you, that was a stupid question

  • @ramiro420247

Hi, nothing happen coz the low voltage used (only 12V or 24V)!

  • @ramiro420247 When it rains you get wet, as with any motorcycle...the motor is enclosed into the wheel and stays dry (the wire is enamelled anyway so it can work damp or wet as well)

  • i just came in my pants

  • @lolurowned1 your a fuckng! retarded kid! you just came in your pants!!! have you ever drooped balls yet! fagot!

  • AKIRA

  • looks good was that for a motor bike?? would be cool or a car. Peace and good video. and gear set ups. :)

  • Want to help bring about change - ONLY BUY AN ELECTRIC CAR! Hold out for an electric. They are coming!

  • I think this is electromagnet motor. Not magnet..

  • Tetsuo!!!!!!!!!

  • air... trek....
