  • Beck, like Semenko, resort to hugging when they knew they were out classed. Hate the Flyers but Wilson was one of most natural fighters to ever skate in the league.

  • i enjoyed eddie johnstone kicking norm barnes ass

  • clear win for wilson top3 not doubt

  • beck beat the first flyers fighter pretty bad, then same game at the end of his long tiring shift him and wilson danced to a draw, geez wilson couldn't ven beat a tired past his prime beck???...wow, give all the wins here to beck based on situation and circumstance....

  • A Bad Clip and I didn't See Behn Wilson throw 10 Punches against Becks 2, Jim

Gordon had a better View and Said a Hard Shot by Beck. Eddie "Ziggy" Jonhstone was One of the Toughest Fighters in the League for His Size as He Whips Norm Barnes Here. Wilson was Beatable and was Beaten by Fotiu. The Flyers had Talent with Clark & Parent and Dave Schultz and Won Two Cups in the 1970's with Fred Shero as Coach. But that was Years ago and Now they haven't Won Nothing. They are Bad & Lost to the Hawks

  • @mrgpk Norm Barnes was not a guy to brag about beating. You get a rep for being tough by beating the toughest guys, not from beating Norm Barnes.

  • @mrgpk that was a draw unless youre a faggot rangers fan which you clearly are. also wilson was a kid back then. fotiu is highly overrated pussy who never fought a lot. you also said flyers are bad? they went in the finals you stupid fuck hahahaha clueless! now they have 21-8-4 or something rangers suck dicks. you are still mad that wilson brashear dave brown and now shelley is destroying your team as usual how sad hahahahaha

  • @mrgpk also beck against brown shows beck is scared shitless to trade with brown might be decisive lose for beck cause he doesnt wanna fight hahahahah hes a rags pussy!

  • Was that Battleship Kelly at the beginning losing as usual.Behn Wilson the most fiercest fighter at that time would have killed all those faggy Rangers from pussy New York.Philly did produce some good teams and tough guys but that city sucks to.

  • @brsfan66 When we New Yorkers flush the toilet we do it twice 'cause it's a long way for the shit to land in Philly.

  • @proton3227 Flush the toilet once imbicle and face the fact that New Yakville will always sucks too !

  • @brsfan66 Okay stupid. Does mommy know you're on the computer?

  • @proton3227 Yeah ! Your trashy mom gave me permission after I slammed her in the bum.

  • @brsfan66 LOL.. Go clean a toilet asshole.

  • @proton3227 New Yakvillle is a pretty big toilet to clean but i'll get going right away.Ask mom if she can help.hahaha.

  • real hockey

  • It was a very rare occasion to see Beck ever lose. He'd destroy people. Clearly here he lost to Wilson, which was probably a shock to Rangers fans.

  • @radioactivekaraoke Clearly, you need to get your vision checked!!

  • Holgrem pussied out of fighting Beck and let Wilson step in

  • Wilson won this scrap. Hardly ever saw Beck lose one.

  • I see Beck was fighting the other guy 1st so that will make you tired just wrestle with some one and see how tired you get. He did good against what a lot of people say was one of the best back then. Draw to me as no one landed any real good ones.

  • @GirlFighterClub Beck did not fight Holmgren here. Take another look; Wilson lands at least 10 hard right hands to Beck's one or two punches. 10-1 or 10-2 isn't a draw anywhere I've heard of. Wilson made Beck tired of his right hand

  • @tedfio1tedfio1 have you read your own posts the last year? You don't offer up any knowledge at all; just spout garbage and cry like a baby when someone shows you that you don't know anything. My life is pretty good :) plus I'd be willing to bet you eat cat food for dinner minimum once a week. That in itself gives me a good feeling

  • Comment removed

  • @tedfio1tedfio1 yeah but a masters degree from clown college hasn't carried you that far has it? what did you major in, animal nutrition, or just the regular balloon animal manufacturing program?

  • @GirlFighterClub maybe women should stay out of fights....

  • @khav11 Tell that to your momma.

  • Potty head (I need muh pot y to win) Wilson.

  • @hoyfanofboulder and win he did LOL .... actually EVERYBODY after June 1, 1979 needed their helmet jackass. NHL mandated rule. Look it up shit-for-brains

  • Wilson won that. Not that it was a great fight.

  • They are warriors, heroes.

Whitejersey-player won this good battle CLEARLY as he clearly landed more the punches.

But other guy held his own well.

  • wilson broke his wrist on Beck's hair.

  • Toughest organization of all time, in any sport ever? The Philadelphia Flyers.

  • @sirmelancholia they real tough when they jump in to help each other,,pussy bitches!

  • GOD this is when Hockey was fun!!!!!!!!

  • Johnstone was a scrapper.

  • Beck looked like he was holding on to Wilson and waited for linesmen to come in....even fight though - not much happened that I saw. 2 punches each maybe....

  • @ggtrains I swear, when Barry Beck had his Arms around Behn Wilson, I thought that he was going to put him on his Back onto the Ice. That would have been one hell of a Take Down! I know that the Madison Square Crowd would've eaten it up!

  • @ggtrains open your eyes man -- Behn Wilson absolutely DESTROYS Beck here; teaches him some damn manners. Don't let the Rangers broadcasters fool you. At least 15 unanswered hard short rights and uppercuts. That's a lot more than a couple and not even in the least.

  • @justice008a You sound like a cj=hinky Tiger fan...DESTROYs...OWNS...mother fag fucker...BEck got a couple of shots in and Wilson tried to do his (I have a helmet and if i can get cute and sneak some shots in I'll look like I'll win". FUK U.

  • @hoyfanofboulder Tigers are a hockey team of some sort?? You've got some rage issues there; don't get mad at me because your boyfriend takes a beating here. Another of these idiots who thinks players wore helmets to get an advantage in fights. How old are you kid...... 10? Don't comment on things unless you were alive when it happened and you know SOME of the history involved

  • Comment removed

  • @tedfio1tedfio1 no, he's a guy that says his favorites always win and you are wrong no matter what! then a ton of trash talk follows. i won't even respond to him anymore because he's boring me!!

  • Comment removed

  • @justice008a it wasnt even a fight u idiot.

  • @uiwqe right on!! justice008a and SCROGY are two of the biggest trolls on YouTube and the guys they hate will always lose whether they actually lose or not. "Wilson won that"......my arse!!!

  • @MrManfly anyone other than you can see Wilson wins this fight. It was big news at the time because it was the first time Beck got beaten handily. Not that you would remember -- you're 10 yrs old. Wilson has wins over Beck, Gillies twice, Jonathan twice, O'Reilly twice, Wendel Clark twice, completely neutralized Probert in his 3rd last career fight, McSorley, Nilan 3 times.... etc, etc, etc. I'll ask you and your boyfriend uiwqe again -- who the fuck has your idol Semenko ever beaten??

  • Comment removed

  • @tedfio1tedfio1 what's your problem with wearing helmets? They had to by rule. The guys not wearing them aren't because the rule was grandfathered in, meaning guys who weren't wearing helmets June 1, 1979 had the choice. No one else had a choice. Complaining about guys wearing helmets shows how misinformed you are. By your logic Larry Playfair, Dave Brown, Bob Probert, and Jim McKenzie were "helmet wearing punks"..... doesn't sound very smart when you read someone else writing it, does it?

  • @tedfio1tedfio1 I'm just communicating on these guys' level so they can understand. Seriously though no one with intelligence can contend Beck won this fight at all; Wilson lands virtually all the meaningful punches. As for your reference to Fotiu, that was unquestionably the highlight of Fotiu's career and caught a 19 yr old Wilson by surprise, but nowhere close to hurting him or even knocking him down. Wilson never got knocked down by anyone. Body of work Wilson is the best all-time

  • Comment removed

  • @tedfio1tedfio1 THIS ERA -- LATE 70s to MID 80s...... show me "your share of fight" with players removing their helmets. You won't be able to produce any video. Why do 10 and 15 yr olds who weren't even alive during these fights try to argue points they would know are bullshit. I'll be waiting for the clips of your fights. Why is Wilson stil moving forward to Fotiu if he's "almost KO'd"? Keep dreaming. Wilson lost 4 fights his entire career -- Fotiu, Wensink, Plett, McClelland -- best ever

  • Comment removed

  • @tedfio1tedfio1 these fights happened before you were born right? I've been over it for some time; I just wonder if your boyfriend Nicky got over having his ass handed to him THREE times in one game by Jack Carlson? Don't talk shit when Fotiu lost as many fights in 1 day as Wilson lost his entire career. After the game a battered and bloody Fotiu gets on the same plane as Carlson and Jack says "Looking good Nicky!" What did Fotiu do? He sat down and shut the fuck up. True history for you kid

  • @justice008a Where did you hear that story?

  • @SCROGY from the Minnesota Fighting Saints -- it's from a documentary of their WHA franchise which contains some televised interviews from players. Granted there would be some bias there from Minnesota players, but I never said Fotiu wasn't tough; I wouldn't go on camera and make up a story like that about him for fear he'd come and find them

  • @justice008a Well considering that Nick was a NY golden gloves boxer I have no doubt that he'd hand pretty much any hockey player in his day their ass on the street. I see no reason for Fotiu to fear any player standing on the feet. He'd box their ears in about 10 seconds. It was likely a good natured ribbing from Carlson.

  • @SCROGY Neil Sheehy was a golden gloves champion boxer too; doesn't necessarily make you a great hockey fighter. Fotiu got the decision from a 20 yr old Wilson who made the mistake of making a hockey fight a sparring sesson, but Fotiu's wins over good NHL enforcers are somewhat lacking -- he picked his spots

  • @justice008a I was talking about Fotiu being on the plane with Carlson. They were off the ice. And I'd bet money on Nick to destroy Jack on the feet. A lot of NHL enforcers were MA-ists or boxers and sucked as fighters on the ice.

  • @SCROGY you should have been there to tell Nick not to sit down then..... careful how much money you offer up; Fotiu probably knew more than you wanted to pay up

  • @justice008a Well it sounds like BS to me and since it's the other guys team I'll take it with a grain of salt. There may have been a conversation but I have no doubt that Fotiu would smash pretty much any NHL tough guy of his time off the ice. As for Wilson, he didn't make a mistake. Fotiu just did what he needed to do to win. Every time Behn reached to grab his shirt Nick parried his hand and hit him. It's hard to get a grip when a guy is tagging you.

  • @justice008a yes wilson was a terrific beast but idk brown is the best imo

  • @khav11 .... not true you biased loser, both brown and wilson couldn't hold a candle to probert, together they never fought as many time as probert, nor did they fight the same true heavyweights in the other heavyweights prime as probert, did, so how can they be 1 & 2, so go back to work you jealous monkey, you biased brown and wilson nut sac squeezer....

  • @hockeystruth you are the most retarded man on youtube congrats! 48 years old? really? fucking sad

probert sucks he needed coke and to cheat to get off his jersey . like rob ray they both got destroy more than 60 times. probert had more than 60 losses hes sure the best LOLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • @khav11 ...you must mean a terrific loser, not beast!!

  • @hockeystruth why do you use browns cover?

  • @khav11 ...I like that photo of brown...it shows he was in a fight. Notice that he has no jersey on! Also notice that he is bloodied! Do you know what fight he was in when that photo was taken?

  • @hockeystruth against simon?

  • @khav11 ..I am not sure, but I think it was against Huard, Huard got a lucky one in?

  • @hockeystruth brown is one of the few player that never got their clock cleaned. he got edged by huard kimble and simon but nothing bad. he was the heavyweight champ in the 80s

  • @uiwqe he is an idiot isn't he?

  • @MrManfly u damm right hes an idiot!

  • I forgot how bad, biased, the rangers announcers, gordon and chadwick, were.

  • True, but the Flyers announcers -- especially Gene Hart -- were biased as well...

  • beaton was brought up for a reason but did nothing and i'm a Ranger fan

  • they shouldve sent fotiu in there,,he slap around flyers like ragdolls!!!LOL

  • Barry Beck? Poor Ranger got his teeth knocked in , he wasn't a fighter. but he was dumb to fight Big Behn.

    Flyers Rule, always have...always will

  • What did you enjoy better ? When Nick Fotiu DESTROYED that pig Behn Wilson or that vermin Paul Holmgren with vicious beatdowns?

Personally, it didn't matter, seeing any Flyers blood on the ice is heartwarming enough.

  • Amen to that.

  • I call the fight a draw.

  • Got his teeth kicked in by who???..you're one dumb fuck.

  • it looked like Holgrem didn't want any part of Beck

  • I agree, if Holgrem wanted him, he would have found him, but he let wilson take his place.

  • Playboy: Who are regarded as the best fighters in the N.H.L.

Gretzky: I guess Dave Semenko, Clark Gillies, Behn Wilson and Barry Beck. Those four are the guys I would name, anyway. I don't think I've forgotten anybody. I hope I haven't.

I don't want anybody to be upset with me.

  • You said that Gretzky said that Beck was the heavyweight champ. Where does it say that again? LMAO

    Again Booster, epic fail!

I don't want anybody to be upset with me.

is will prove what a liar I am I guess I really am a moron

  • I guess I'm a coward for stating facts and you are a real man because you have a constant stream of shit flying out of your mouth. If you can back up 1 thing you said with proof than I will apologize to you. Until that happens, don't waste any more of my time with your line of bullshit.

  • His fight with Stevens took place in 1984 when he was playing with a seperated shoulder the whole year. He had surgery to repair the shoulder after that year. Even with a bum shoulder he still took on a young Scott Stevens and didn't lose to him!!

  • Barnes took a real beating. Dirty move by Wilson using his stick on Johnstone and not very brave to fight Beck after Barry had just had a fight. Typical trailer park trash Flyers.

  • As the old saying goes...'Ring Johnstone'!

  • Eddie Johnstone sure showed that he could scrap pretty good

  • Beck was very overrated as a fighter, big

strong guy who won a couple early on,but

more a hugger, and more and more guys

started challenging him as he got older and tore up his shoulder, and I am a NYR fan.

  • I've watched this a few times and I'm trying to find the exact spot where Beck gets his ass kicked.

  • Wilson kicked Beck's ass. That fat fuck quit and was eating Wilson's knuckles. Waht a fucking waste Beck was and ugly too!

  • spoken like a true retard.

  • Yeah, right. Wilson, being the cowardly faggot that he was, went after someone who was already worn out from fighting--and didn't want any part of Frank Beaton. Wilson had NO balls, which is why his teammates hated his redheaded ass.

  • beck never wanted any part of a real scatman like wilson, jus a big huggy bear

he did not want 2 throw and did not.

  • Beck kicked every Flyers ass he faced! Paul Homogren used to run from him LOL...

  • Don Cherry was quoted that "Bubba" Beck was the toughest fighter in the NHL. Probably because he was Beck's coach in Colorado when Beck just DESTROYED Paul Holmgren in a huge one sided scrap. Final word... Beck never lost ! No one else can state that.

  • Don't make excuses. Beck lost to Wilson in a very close fight. Beck just tried hanging on. I'm not taking anything away from Beck...but he was much like Larry Robinson. He only had 30 odd fights in his entire career, but he did not routinely beat the best fighters in the league. Yes, Holmgren was tough, but it was one of only a few impressive wins for Beck, who beat a lot of no name fighters.

That being said, Beck was awesome, and he was extremely underated as a player.

  • BoSoxnation1972 - What are you talking about? "Too embarressed to leave a comment" LOL. What are you in kindergarten? The fight was prety much a draw; you even said it was very close. If you want to give Wilson the edge go ahead. I don't give two shits; I was not in the fight LOL.. You are right; Beck did not have a lot of fights because he was too good of a player; the Rangers needed him on the ice. The Stevens fight; also a draw! However, Beck could hold his own with anyone during his era.

  • If you read what I wrote fuckstick, you wouldnt have bothered replying. I said "he didn't routinely beat the best fighters in the league." That is a true statement. Did he routinely hold his own? Very much so. Just like Larry Robinson did.

I closed with "That being said, Beck was awesome, and he was extremely underated as a player."

Next time, give your cock-washer a rest and learn to pick your battles.

  • Hey CUNTSOX,

No wonder you fucking idiots in Beantown just got swept by the Yankees. You are a fucking punkass bitch. I tried to be nice and agree with you but your typical inferrior Bostonian complex got the best of you LOL... "Pick my battles" Who the fuck are you; Terry O'Reilly? Go fuck yourself dickhead!

  • " I tried to be nice and agree with you." You did? ROTFLMAO You said I didn't know what I was talking about, then you realized you must have misread what I wrote and removed your comment like the fucking coward that you are. Anyone who replies twice, then removes both comments on their own, shows what a spineless coward they are. Now go back to sucking dick for beer money! LMAO

  • Hey CuntSox, "Coward" Unlike you I don't live my life watching other people fight on ice. As for Beck; there was no Bruin who could beat him.

I see you have an obsession with sucking dick. Go suck on Big Poppy Ortiz LOL....

  • The only Bruins Beck ever had the balls to fight was a 19 year old rookie named Luc Dufour, who never won a fight, and Gord Kluzac. Dufour was actually beating Beck until Beck landed a nice uppercut and Brad Park jumped in to save the kid. Kluzac actually got the better of Beck, but it was much like the Wilson fight where nobody landed a clear bomb. Kluzac had the reach and Beck went for the takedown, but Kluzac landed on top.

Beck never had the balls to go with Wensink, Jonathan or O'Reilly.

  • I disagree! Although I think Wensink, Jonathan, and O'Reilly were very tough, they would not beat Beck a good % of the time. However, I think Byers and Beck would have been the better match. Let's agree to disagree amd leave it at that.

  • O'Reilly gave Clark Gillies the 2 worst beatings of his career. Gillies held the belt for a few seasons. Think what you want, but Dave Schultz, who fought virtually everyone, said Terry was the toughest man he ever fought. (not that you as a Ranger fan would respect anything that Dave Schultz had to say)

Byers did absolutely demolish Craig Berube though. That was one of the worst beatings I ever say Chief take. Byers also did a number on former Flyer Glen Cochrane with a TKO.

  • O'Reilly did win twice; however, Gillies won three of the 5 fights. Gillies also kicked Schultz's ass before the entire Flyer team jumped him.

I did hate Shultz; but I am reading his book "The Hammer: Confessions of a Hockey Enforcer." Pretty good book!Schultz also reportedly said via objective sources he would not fight Fotiu; he was afraid of getting KOd. However, I have not read that first hand.

  • I agree 100% that Gillies won 3 of the 5, but in one of the fights, he jumped O'Reilly at the end of a long shift and punched him when he was down on the ice (I believe it was fight number 4) That's why Terry went ballistic in their 5th fight and just mauled Gillies and then tried to knee him after he kicked his ass.

Basically with Terry absolutely destroying Gillies in their final bout, Terry walked away with the last word in their rivalry.

Regarding Schultz, I never heard him say that either

  • (me=nyr fan) I think Beck & Fotiu could have done so much more for NY than what they did. These 2 hardly ever fought, in an NHL era where you needed them to fight.

Personally I think either one of them could have beaten Wensink, Jonathan, or O'Reilly.

But before you attack me, let me say. I would of rather had the Boston 3 wearing Ranger jerseys than both Nicky & Beck.

Plus I could say the same, how come the Boston 3 never had the balls to fight either Beck or Fotiu it goes both ways.

  • Actually no it doesnt go both ways. Just watch O'Reilly and Jonathan climbing into the stands in NY. Those 2 never turned down a single fight in their careers. Beck was tough, but he was Larry Robinson tough. Very strong, but chose his opponents carefully. He only fought a handful of tough guys in his career. O'Reilly fought a handful of tough guys in a week! O'Reilly had more fights in a single season than Beck had in his career.

  • I totally agree that Beck did not fight as much as he should have. But your exasperatingly going over how tough OReilly was and he was tough, BUT then ask yourself. Why didnt he ever challenge Beck to a fight or Fotiu? You seem to know your stuff so I am not going to expect because they were scared of OReilly and Jonathan. Why? We both know that unless challenged Beck nor Fotiu would rarely go out and pick a fight. So it was more or less up to the opponent to seek a fight correct?

  • Teams who are LOSING are the team who sends a fighter out to challenge the opponents fighter, in an attempt to change the momentum of the game. The VAST majority of the time in the 1970's, the Bruins were the better team than the Rangers, so it was upto Beck and Fotiu to challenge the Bruins. Boston won 2 cups and went to 4 or 5 stanley cup finals that decade. They also won 7 division titles in the 1970's. So your argument is weak.

  • Good points; I also agree it does go both ways. Beck did not fight as much for two reasons. First, as BoSox mentioned; the Rangers needed him on the ice. Second, he did have a bad shoulder and missed too many games as it was.

Fotiu had his share of fights for the amount of playing time he had. I am suprised that O'Reilly out of all of them never went after Fotiu; He must have liked Fotiu's boxing skills LOL..

  • Kluzak absolutely did not get the better of Beck. They went to a commercial. When they came back from commercial the fight already happened and Beck was on top of Kluzak with the refs breaking them up. They didn't show a replay. Neither did Boston channel 38 who also went to a commercial before the fight!! You obviously have a hard on for Beck. He didn't lose to Behn wilson or Scott Stevens or anybody. John wensink said Beck was the toughest guy in the league when Beck was with Colorado.

  • ROTFLMAO Are you high? Beck only had 9 career fights over 3 seasons when he was with colorado! How did he win that title fighting Gary Rissling, Blair Stewart, Gord Lane, Curt Bennett and Larry Wright?

The only tough players he fought were Curt Frazier and Paul Holmgren. That doesn't earn anyone the belt!

Quoting Wensink would be like me quoting Dave Schultz who said Terry O'Reilly was the toughest he ever fought. That's someone's opinion, not a fact, asshat. LMAO

    Bubba held on against Wilson

  • Your obviously a lying sack of shit. You made up the whole Kluzak Beck fight. Where is your proof that Kluzak landed on top of Beck? Show me the proof. You just wish Beck tokk you down you fudgepacker. If Beck fought Holmgren ,Wilson,Nilan,Holt and Fraser as well as Stevens and Brown why would he be afraid to fight Jonathan, Wensink and O'Reilly? They wanted nothing to do with him. I guess Archie Henderson's opinion means nothing either when he said Beck was the toughest guy he fought early on!!

  • First off, don't take my word for it.Google the Kluzac fight and read reviews from people across the country who actually saw it.

Secondly, Beck never won a single fight against Dave Brown or Behn Wilson. He hugged his was to a few draws and that's it! Again, you claimed Beck as heavyweight champ with Colorado. Who exactly did he beat to win the belt?

By the way, Larry Playfair beat Beck in Juniors A's When Beck was the WCHL champ on the Bruins and Playfair was on Portland!

  • I watched the Kluzak game live and when they came back from commercial Beck was on top of Kluzak. Every account of the Kluzak fight has Beck winning it. Show me anywhere where it says otherwise. He beat Dave Brown and he edged Behn Wilson. Neither Fight was a great fight but he won both of them. He never lost to Larry Playfair in the juniors. Thats bullshit!! You love making up one lie after the other that you have no proof of. Tell me where you Find one account of Playfair beating Beck?

  • I just told you to google Beck Kluzac fight and read reviews from around the country. If you're too fucking stupid to navigate a search engine and read reviews, then you're a fucking retard. LMAO

You say he never lost to Playfair in the minors? LMAO I'll send you the link to the Larry Playfair interview dipshit. It's from larry pPlayfair himself, and he also talks about his one sided loss to Jimmy Mann who broke his nose! I'll post it on your homepage, fuckstick!

  • So if Beck never beat a single top 10 fighter of all-time, and lost to Larry Playfair, who was a year younger than him, in the minors, how exactly does Beck become champ? See, in order to become the champ, you have to beat the champ. Beck never had the balls to challenge him. He'd rather fight Luc Dufour.

Brown and Wilson were the only legit top 10 fighters that Beck fought, and he never won any of them! Hell, he couldnt even beat a young Scott Stevens! Probert would have mangled him!

  • You said Beck was afraid of O'Reilly, Wensink and Jonathan. If he had the Balls to fight the other guys I mentioned previously, Why would he be afraid to fight anybody? He didn't like to fight as a ranger and he didn't fight often but when he did fight he won. If many hockey players of his day thought he was the toughest guy I guess they are all wrong and stupid and you are right. When they interviewed Gretzky in Playboy in the mid eighties and asked him he said Beck as well. Is he wrong?

  • In the playboy interview which you can google, Gretzky said no such thing of Beck! He talked about Beck's CHECKING PROWESS, not his fighting skill you moron!

"It's no secret that if Barry Beck hit me, he would kill me. It's not as if he would intentionally hurt me. He's a big, strong man, and if I got myself into a position where I got hit by him, forget it. He could seriously hurt me. So when I'm on the ice, I try to go to the side opposite from where he is. The same with Potvin." Try again!

  • Yiu love calling me names when you can't back up your statements with fact. I googled Beck Vs. Kluzak and there was no mention of Beck losing to him only mention of Beck handling Kluzak. In Playfairs interview he said he did pretty well against Beck. He didn't say he beat him. In the Playboy interview with Gretzky they asked him who the toughest guys in the league are not who the best body checkers are. He mentioned Beck at least twice. You can't back up your statements with anything !!

  • I can't back up my statements with facts? First, I posted the exact quote from Playboy which you lied about, and you fail to now acknowledge. Secondly, you said he never lost a fight to Larry Playfair in the minors, so I sent you an interview with Playfair that confirms it. Thirdly, you claim Kluzac didn't get the better of Beck, yet I was there. I told you not to take my word for it, but to google it for yourself, yet you don't seem to be able to navigate a search engine! LMAO

  • You must br a retard. Go to page 4 of the Gretzky interview with Playboy and read it moron I copied and pasted it in my last reply. Your interview that you showed me said Playfair did pretty good against the recognized Wchl champ. What does that mean? It could mean he didn't get dropped with 1 punch. It doesn't say he won you idiot. Lastly, there is no google reference to Beck losing to Kluzak. The only loss that some people think Beck had was against Wilson. I disagree. I think he edged him.

  • Are you high? In no way shape or form did Beck beat Wilson! LMAO Granted it was a boring fight, but Beck just hung on for dear life.

Fighters are humble guys, and when they say "I did pretty well against that fighter, it means they won. If he just didn't get beat up, the term they use is "I held my own." But keep believing in the myth. You're probably one of those idiots that think that Gordie Howe could have been heavyweight champ! LMFAO

    What an assclown!

  • I guess I am High LMAO. Why wouldn't playfair say his"win" against the recognized champ was big like he said his win against Semenko was?LMAO Because he didn't beat Beck .LMAO I guess I'm one of those idiots that believe Val James made O'reilly his bitch!!! Or maybe I'm stupid enough to think that John Wensink got bent over by Bobby Nystrom.LMAO!! We can agree to disagree but there no disputing that you want to suck Jonathan's cock while being assfucked By Jay MIller.LMAO LMAO LMAO!!

  • You're the one trying to say that Barry Beck never lost! Hell, Val James did beat O'Reilly, while Terry had a seperated shoulder. However, Val was as tough as any NHL heavyweight at the time. Racism is the only reason he never got a legit shot in the NHL. Yes, Wesink lost 1 fight to Bobby Nystrom, but John also made Behn Wilson his bitch, and KO'd Larry Playfair with a body check. Then he played possum in a fight against Playfair 2 years later and had a great scrap with him in their next go.

  • But you can keep writing over and over again about how tough Beck was. Just show me where and hockey writer who isnt a NY homer, or where an NHL pugilist claims Barry Beck to be the greatest fighter of all-time! For every one you find, I'll find a 100 where he isnt even in the top 10! Now go back to the kiddie table Booster! Your lessons are over! LMFAO

  • How do you type at the same time that your getting assfucked? Aren't Jonathan's nuts getting inthe way of your keyboard?LMAO

  • Do you put peanut butter on Barry Becks balls before you caress them with your tongue? Or do you like the natural scent of his sweaty manballs as they glide across your lips and rest on your chin? LMFAO

Too bad Booster! If you woke up a couple of hours earlier, you could have bid on Barry's game worn jock on Ebay! I hear it fetched a cool $200, which would be about a weels worth of your welfare! LMFAO

    NEXT!

  • When nevin markwart man fucks your ass is he nice enough to use lube or do you like to bleed? Does peter mcnabb fart in your face when you give him a rim job? Do you like it when Terry O'reilly cums in your face or do you get pissed when its in your eye? Does Keith Crowder make you massage his prostate and then drink his man milk? When jerking off raymond borque does he make you wear his jersey number 7 or 77?

    LMAO LMAO

  • Do you find it hard to hide the fact that you're gay? LMAo I dont care if you put from the rough! I mean hey, you're understandably mad because after the Bruins would pound your team, they came into the stands and pounded you! You tell me what Terry o'Reilly's nuts taste like! Hell, Stan Jonathan tea bagged you on hockey night in Canada! Was it you that Mike Millbury was beating over the head with his own shoe? LMFAO

Now get out your lipstick and high heels! Barry is showing up at 7pm sharp!

  • Your just mad bcause Keith Crowder made you swallow his man chowder!! The only thing that was pounded was your asshole by Brad Park. Is Larry Bird's right index finger crooked from repeatedly jamming it up your raw ass? I know that Robert Parrish made you jerk him off and swallow his cum. I'm sure your looking forward to the playoffs so that the ny yankees can come over and rape your father!LMAO

  • Your material is limper than your dick. It must suck living in that shithole NY and having only 1 championship this millenium! LMAO

By the way, do you even have a basketball team? Why would a Jew Yorker bring up Basketball when the Knocks play in the WNBA? LMAO

I head they almost made the playoffs last year, but Candice Parker sunk a 3 at the buzzer and the Niggerbockers had to go home dejected again!

Keep waiying on the Spamkees. Boston SHELLED AJ Burnett this year, and Gay Rod chokes!

  • @BoSoxnation1972 hahahahahahah there is one thing we can agree we both hate ny Teams. go flyers!

  • By the way, what was it like to be DP'd by Nick Fotiu and Barry Beck? Did George McPhee really jump in and call out "train!"

I bet Tie Domi and Ulfie were high fiving when they turned you into a Chinese finger puzzle! LMAO

Sean Avery must have been looking in the mirror the entire time he was fucking you, just so he could stay hard! LMAO

Do you prefer him to fist fuck you? Or do you like to give him a blumpkin and have him rub scat all over your face when he's done? LMAO

  • New York is the root of all evil.

  • Tell that to Chase Utley ....

  • yes they can and his name is john ferguson he play for the habs

  • What happened here was that Beck's usual strategy of using his upper body strength to dump opponents did not work against Wilson. See Beck's fights against Paul Baxter, Jim Nill, Bert Wilson, Jeff Brubaker, Luc Dufour and Chris Nilan. Beck never won by outboxing or outslugging an opponent, so once he had a guy he couldn't dump he was in trouble. He started doing that at 1:35 but he just couldn't finish the job: he did succeed in tying Wilson up, though.

  • Beck was not a true fighter,he was just hanging on here.If he exchanged with Wilson he would have got messed up

  • Beck quit. Wrapped his arms around Wilson's waist, buried his face on his shoulder and waited for the refs.

  • Beck was cut by a head butt fom Paul Holmgren not by anything from Behn Wilson.

  • Beck was actually cut during this fight and between the periods he changed his sweater from the number 3 that he wore to number 98 due to the blood stains. No announcement was made by over the PA system about Beck's jersey change. The edition of the Hockey News that came out after this fight said that Wilson ruined Beck's reputation as a fighter.

  • To bad Barry had such a short career, one tough and talented player, looks like a win here against the flyer tough guys.

  • Barry Beck Clearly edged Wilson. Wilson didn't land one clean shot. You can see if you watch the video that Beck is holding Wilson's arm preventing the rights from landing!! Beck lads a right in the begining, another overhand right in the middle and a big left in the end. Beck was the toughest of all time.He never lost a fight. 2nd was Wilson followed by Probert and Dave Brown.

  • you need to get off the crack pipe! While beck was perhaps the most underrated fighter of all-time, he was never even close to the best. I'd give Wilson a narrow win here, and Beck didn't have near enough fights to be considered even in the top 10! Scott Stevens beat him November 28th 1984!

Beck's only tough opponents were Brown (who he tied twice and neither man landing anything in either fight) and Wilson. His other fights were against guys like Ron Duguay and Mario Marois!

  • didn't lose to Stevens..

  • Yes, he did. It wasn't a beating or anything, but it was a typical Beck fight where he didn't throw much and tried for the takedown, but against Stevens he failed. Beck started it, but Stevens was the aggressor after they dropped the gloves throughout the fight and landed 3 of 12 punches. Beck landed 2 weak ones and only threw 3 before he was ducking and going for the takedown. I have the fight on VHS. The date of the game is November 28th 1984 if you'd care to research it for yourself!

  • Behn Wilson kicked Bubba's butt.

  • Make sure you get off also...it's be a shame to waste such a wet dream!

  • put down the crack pipe.

  • hahah philly is a dirty team blah blah blah get over it everyone from philly loves it and when u bad mouth us and call us cheap we love it....blue collar city that does anything to win, and thats how these flyers played

  • Philly is a loser town with a New York complex.

  • I remember this one. Beck had been wrestling around with Holmgren (whom Beck destroyed during his Colorado) and Wilson thought it was good time to tangle with Bubba. Beck had a little left in the tank though. Beck just couldn't lose, and NEVER did !

  • WHAT are you looking at bud??? I suggest you watch again. Behn Wilson teaching Beck some manners by crashing short rights off Beck's head repeatedly..... perhaps you can point out one punch that Beck actually lands here????

  • He even beat him with the potty on his head...time to flush Ben (he looks loke baby heuy a duuuuuffff!

  • Wilson was probably 19 or 20 yrs old here as well..... I don't understand these comments complaining about guys wearing helmets; were you guys even alive at this time? There was never any suggestion of a code that people were supposed to take off their helmets for fights.... only when visors came in and idiots were dropping their gloves and being protected by visors shielding their faces

  • I agree with Justice..you need to stop smoking weed because it's rotting your brain! Beck lost this fight CLEARLY (plain as day) He was hanging on for dear life!

Now that being said, Beck rarely lost....but he hardly ever fought either!

He had like 40 career fighs, which is less than Brad Park had!

  • Those were the days.

  • i hear behn wilson is doing well in his new trade - saw him drying nick fotiu's car at a car wash sometimes big behn pulls in 20-30 bucks a day -hear fotiu and beck take turns driving by and smacking him with wet towels - what a loser lol- philly was always known for its class- behn wilson and cheesesteaks lol
