@98bigbutt Infant and human sacrifice was universal in all pagan cultures. It was not prevalent in all places, but it occurred among every people if you go back to their pre-Christian times. It's reoccurring through abortion today.

It's amazing how people will use the power of myth to propagate their own personal ideals and to justify the outright genocide of the Indians and the taking of their lands. Belief in the biblical God is not the only true religion. All religions are true to their adherents and it's an abomination when a spiritual way of life is destroyed in the name of another. Historians with biblical beliefs were basically the only reporters of early American history. They wanted to villify the Native way of life so they could destroy it. All life was revered by the indigenous people. Woman were honored as life givers and many Native nations were matriarchal. Please stop.

Maybe. But it was far less than one percent of how often the Native Americans went on raping each other.

Where would you rathr be a Native American woman?

Living in a tribe where you were treated as less than an animal?

Or as a converted Christian in a Puritan mission to "praying Indians"?

American Puritanism was by far the superior moral culture.

Animal sacrifice was Biblical in the time of Jesus and Abraham sacrificed sheep. Leviticus outlines animal sacrifice as a procedure to atone for sin. The Bible says it can never save a person, but it never says it's sinful. It commands it in some circumstances.

The Canaanites were evil because they performed human sacrifices and killed their own children. This is true. So the Israelites were right to kill the same Canaanite children? This Bible isn't always a pro-life book.

I would rather much go to the Wampanoag Village than to the Plimoth Plantation. White culture is too permeated for the world. Everything historical ALWAYS has to be the White/European point of view and is usually biased and untrue. Can't non whites ever be respected for their point of view? It seems like no. But nontheless they are. I don't want to hear Eurocentric anything because it's too forced on.

The culture isn't "white" culture. It's western civilization. It permeated the world because it's better than a lot of other civilizations. Copy it and assimilate.

When Samoset greeted the Pilgrims, he wanted their help to exterminate another indigenous tribe. Wampanoags exterminated other indigenous people intentionally. The Pilgrims didn't know how smallpox spread so at least they did it by accident.

As they were right there, in person, they are going to know more of what's going on than you, who know far less about *why* sacrifices occur, the nature of unveiled evil, the origin of guilt and shame, and why all beliefs (most certainly including Marxism, and today's sexual cultus) demand blood sacrifice.

Actually, it is well known that the Europeans didn't understand what was going on. They employed natives to interpret. Perhaps because their religious values indicated they were superior to all other forms of life. eh?

The natives practiced various rituals that were of a symbolic nature involving ritual death and rebirth into new status. Sound familiar? :-D
