  • " . . . to close the wound."

And then be sure to sew it up with some hair in it too. Jeez.

  • @billville111 close the wound..? yeah right.. who do these guys think they are? This is YOUTUBE.. just make sure Bubba doesn't spill any beer in it and pray to Jaysus that it doesn't get infected. (gloves are for pussies)

  • Gross :/

  • I've seen a lot of these and this one was next to perfect. Nice ooze, whole sack, no blood and stitched up. Short and sweet yet to the point.

  • Yes I agree. Very cool

  • Cool

  • I'm on the weird part of YouTube again.

  • @MegaCoober like we never heard that shit before

  • Usually a smaller scar 5mm or so. Generally heals well. You can use a scar reduction technique such as silicone to further reduce scarring.

  • what kind of scar is left after punch excision?

  • @RAMPANT848

Bob seems to be good at it and the important point is to get the capsule out (not only draining it, because it could come back). With the objective met, usually a small scar which is looks like a very thin line remains. Good job Bob.

  • Oodles of pus!! The whole cyst capsule!! No body screaming or complaining about the smell!! This is the best cyst video ever!!

  • Freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I got here from watching nature vids...

  • The Bx tool rocks!!

  • Great video. Thanks for posting. Looks like you went pretty deep there, did you go right to the skull?

  • @juggler007 Glad you liked the video! No it did not go down to the skull.

  • Whats your opinion on all the "diy" cyst removal videos on here?

  • @Brandyrupert I don't think this is a DIY procedure. The intent of this is to help clinicians learn a different technique for approaching a sebaceous cyst which can leave a smaller scar.

  • Very entertaining and informative video, the voice-over is great, thank you! Short work was made of the cyst, I wonder is there any special criteria for using a punch, over cutting, on a cyst?

  • @TheAkashdeepJabandar Glad you liked it. The cyst can be hard to get out some times so be prepared for this. You can use the punch technique pretty much any time. There are no specific guidelines for one over the other. You do get a smaller incision with the punch method.

  • There was still stuff in there after the sac was removed... as you were stitching it up. Won't that get infected if you don't get it all out?

  • @valleyjulie The sebaceous material was all cleaned out. I think what you are noticing is some of the subcutaneous fat. Bob

  • It was great to see the cyst wall come out in one piece. I love the punchy thing!

  • Well done!
