This is just another version. It is a good song whether sung by a country singer or the chipmunks who sing a lot of songs and I don't believe they are trying to make light of a serious situation but presenting the same entertainment in a different form/genre. Different ppl prefer different sounds. It is an awesome message and it deserves to be heard in all different forms the more the message is out there the better.
