I'd rather say Cancellara lost because he needed to ride alone for more than 30 kms, with a Chavanel stuck on his wheel, and gaining ground on a peloton chasing furiously (at a moment, BMC put 8 riders in the front to chase). And then, later, he opened the sprint too early because of Boonen coming to them, plus he was the one doing most turns in the finish. But yeah, Gilbert's attack here was a killer one indeed.

Le tracé est un peu trop facile, les monts sont bien trop courts et l'arrivée trop loin de la dernière difficulté ! Sinon il suffit de voir l'attaque dans le bosberg pour comprendre qui est le plus fort !
