  • Don't know if anyone noticed but the man holding the balloon lowered it slowly and maybe he punctured it through the part showing under the glass.

  • WHAAAATTTT!! OMG! THATS AWSOME!

  • chuck norris did this....10 miles away from the glass

  • @bangermccrusher and you're gay

  • @Franciscoman92 and that turns you on faggot?

  • bio2020 your stupid! this is true! I bet none of you can do this even as close as 1inch from the glass. It takes a lot of practice and time.

  • wdf just happened

  • @W4rify The monk through a needle through the glass.

  • It's real, but that's not to say it isn't deceptive. The needle is a heavy leatherworking needle, not a regular sewing needle. It's heavy enough that it will even go through the glass eye-first. He also gives the impression he releases it a good deal farther from the glass than he actually does. If you watch closely, you'll see it happens only an inch or 2 away. The "qi gathering" act beforehand helps too.

    Nothing amazing here; just physics.

  • @lytrigian I'm sorry. I think this is pretty amazing. I really want to see you do this.

Or maybe I don't. I probably really don't care though so...

    Have a good day.

  • lol how is this fake they have videos of them doing this in slow motion

  • this is true I watched on tv a documentary about this it is possible

  • This is fake. The Shaolin have brought shame upon us.

  • I believe monks can do amazing things, but sadly this is a hoax. After he throws the first needle he never gets another one. I watched over several times...he does not have a needle on the second attempt. Where does he get it from? He had a second one stored in this other hand? I'm pretty sure he didn't.

Also, watch the man's hand who is holding the blue balloon after it pops. He has some sort of black object in his hand. You can see him attempt to hide it...

  • @LoveConsiousness ...no in the beginning you can see him still holding another needle in his hand after grabs the first one....and that black object that the balloon holder is holding is the part of the balloon he was grabbing..

  • @gearsfan165 After rewatching I believe you are correct :)

  • its impressive.... until you realise that the guy holding the balloon was also holding a needle :L

  • @XDsylwek I thought the same thing. But, if the guy holding the balloon is also holding a needle, why didn't it pop the first time? But, perhaps because I think this way, they show a slight bit of fallibility and pop it the second time. Who knows.

  • @XDsylwek definitely not holding a needle you can see the fracture in the glass where he throws the needle through and hits the balloon

  • @TheJhaye80 1:14 ther isint

  • @XDsylwek he had one hand behind his back.....so unless you can explain to me how he pops it with one hand holding the balloon and the other behind then i believe he did not have a needle.

  • not bad, i use same technique to throw those plastic chopsticks through wooden interior doors. it actually goes through the door and out the other side by atleast 1 - 2 inches every time. i taught my kiddies the technique so they can defend themselves with similar implements in their surroundings.

  • @TKLMMS

    stfu.

  • So that's how jet-li trained in kiss of the dragon.

  • can someone explain to me how he did that and how long it takes for a monk to do that?

  • Where did the needle go? Did it get stuck in the glass or what?

  • I'LL KILL YOU WITH A THUMBTACK!!!! says the shaolin monk

  • wtf i tried throwing needles through the glass of an old picture frame. didnt even leave a mark T^T

  • impressive but the prestrokes made me pre maturely exit the video

  • Do that 40 feet away from the target, then i'll be impressed.

  • hey this dragonball in reallife

  • Any performances are done by students of Shaolin, not monks. Not every person who studies Shaolin wushu is a monk

  • I dont look at them like a circus act. I think the monks are teachers.

  • kong fu panda is better

  • There is no spoon.

  • he faild at first try ... but not bad no1 can do it so no1 laugh about it lol

  • he had a helmet on but his head come off

  • 0:51 FAIL!!! haha..

  • @phoeniximperator just cuz you cant doesnt mean noone else cud either

  • 1:10 to actual throw

  • actually, breaking a glass with a needle is possible. I have seen it in one of those myth-busters-like shows. I'm not saying the monks didn't cheat, because I'm sure it depends on the thickness of the glass and the strength of the person throwing the needle. I'm just saying it's really possible.

  • The person holding the balloon pops it ... a simple parlour trick

  • @phoeniximperator do you even watch any of the other videos on youtube for this or do you just like to speak nonsense?

  • @phoeniximperator If you trained long and hard enough this would be quite simple compared to what else they can do. Look up Thích Quảng Đức if you want to see the real power of bio-feedback.

  • fail.

  • nice gimmick!!

  • @gungji9 Wasn't a gimmick if it was a gimmick it would of happen the first time.

  • the monks have let themselves become gimmcks and trickery!! thats it! it didn't happen the first time????????? so what i've seen plenty of ppl do things that didn't work the first time they tried but these were still gimmicks! when a magician mess up his trick its still trick! popping balloons is popping balloons end of, its still a gimmick! no matter how fancy you do it!

  • thats part of the gimmick, the trick is done by the person holding the balloon

  • not really tarokirl, not all, some of them raise money for the temples.

  • Shaolin monks have shamed themselves. They are now a circus act.

  • tarokirl, I agree with U that many do like a circus~~~~and this demo confusing why the monk need RESERVE THE QI after throwing, in the Internal, once one throw (motion) and stay back hands to torso (stay) the Qi is back to DanTian ~~~This is a bit over-acted !!!

  • @tarokirl or you could see it that they are bringing awareness to a sleepy world. Which creates hope for those seeking something outside of what they have been taught. Either way you can look at it.

  • @tarokirl all is fair in love and war

  • @tarokirl They had no choice, their temple would of been destroyed if not...

  • @tarokirl what a stupid comment to make.

This doesnt look like a circus to me this is more of a magic show minus the trickery. no ones dressed up as a pimp making a goat jump thru hoops here. this is all real. we need one of these shows playing in every town coz it blows my mind

  • @tarokirl awesome circus monk's

  • @tarokirl Whilst your comment has some sence to it, its the only way they can get money to feed themselves these days, sad as it is.

  • @lantyboy696 WHAT? Why are so many ignorant people commenting on this page! The Shaolin temple has no problem feeding its students, and is partially funded by the government anyway.

  • @lantyboy696 Sence?

  • @tarokirl Why are you talking like that, you're not even Chinese. They've "shamed" themselves? You're from America you phony. The Shaolin Temple's integrity is still intact regardless of a demonstration these people did. I don't even think that these men are Shaolin monks, judging on how thin their arms are...

  • @tarokirl maybe they have to do exibitions in this commercial world we live to preserve their tradition i don't think they are doing anything wrong at all

  • @tarokirl they do what they can for money in todays society you need money to do anything they are just doing what they can for money

  • @tarokirl why is that a shame ?

  • @tarokirl not really. I didn't see a circus in there. Saw some great skills.

  • @tarokirl I think it's called demonstrations.

  • wow how did he do tht?
