The show used a rollicking theme song, sung by a bunch of early 19th Century barflies. The tune and lyrics are based on numerous period songs, such as the "Marines' Hymn" and "Yankee Doodle". The theme song was nominated for the "Outstanding Main Theme Title Song" Emmy in 2000, but lost to The West Wing.
She did a series of NZ-based TV movies [including a third Lawless movie]. It seems she did drop out of acting, moved to England and went into being a personal assistant in the jewelry industry (as of 2007) - From NZ sources.
@chakotay24 ~ What ever happened to her? Her acting was half-decent, her voice "intriguing" and her body hot as hell-y. It doesn't seem like she would simply drop out of acting just because one show got canceled . . .
This show isn't my cup of tea, but the theme song is wonderfully infectious! It's been days since I watched the DVD(I couldn't get past disc one - I promise I tried) and I can not get the song out of my head! Thanks for posting it so I can enjoy the opening number without the eye-rolling bad puns that invariably followed it! Bruce Campbell is a lovable babe, though... then, now, and tomorrow...
Screw Evil Dead remake and replace it with Jack of All Trades movie!

After watching the entireity of the series, I'm convince that it probably wouldn't have worked without Bruce Campbell.
But since it had him, it was fucking awesome.
