Guys I havent yet bought Rock band but I am really contemplating whether i shud buy it or get GHWT. As I have heard so many complaints and such about the equipment snapping and such and it really doesnt attract me. And the rock band 2 instruments are not available anywhere in the Uk yet... and Harmonix arent answering anyones queries about it because there assholes. So can anyone tell me if any of their instruments have broke and if so how long until they did. It would be much appreciated.

GHWT instruments have had problems. no matter what annyne says (zoopsoul) the RB2 drum kit is flawless. the world tour guitar had problems also the drum kit. if you want more DLC, Better instruments and better song than get rock band 2.

I've played both and from my expierence I like rock band better.

The drums are a bit more intuitive. They just feel a bit better. But the guitar does have it's problems. The newer verison is better but it's still a little clunky.

GHWT does have better guitar charts and the drum charts are harder but I don't like the drums as much and that's what I play.

definitely get rb2. I've played GHWT and the drums are just messed up, and I prefer the RB guitars because they feel more natural to me since I play guitar and drums IRL. RB has more songs as well, and most of GHWT's songs are already in Rock Band. Plus RB2 has more DLC

And that's only part of it.

Also, if you're willing to spend the extra $ I suggest buying the drum set that azuritereaction has: GoodWoods with Destroyer Pedal. It'll last you longer and work way better than the normal set.

i dont no about u but i would actually reccommend getting the ion drum rocker is u have the dough. they work with rock band, ultra quiet, and it doubles as a real electronic drum kit, cant get much better then that. but opinions are opinions.

It's because Metallica are in bed with Activision and are GH exclusive, and have gone against their word by screwing their fans who play Rock Band over (which they promised they wouldn't do.) HMX licensed 18 Metallica tracks overall, released 5, and the rest will probably never see release because Metallica are assholes.

Another song that does this is before the little fill on Tom Sawyer, from RB1, that has the little double bass hit inbetween the yellow and yellow/red hits, those yellow and yellow/red hits are overdrive, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

But, that's one of the other songs that do this strange glitch; Tom Sawyer from Rb1 on Rb2.

It only happens on Rb2, but that's all I know.

That is the bizarre glitch fill. There is an OD activation place there, but you can't see it.
