There was an EQ off of Queen's island yesterday, but I have this feeling that A) the govt loves to tell lies (The chicken pecking thing...if that was true then they would pick up there steps as they look at the machine.) and B) I have been picking up on strong activity from San Fransisco north to Seattle for the last 2-4 weeks and wouldn't be surprised if the big one is coming to the PNW soon. @shavas100 I've been hearing "the Hum" here east of Pittsburgh for at least 10 years. House near top of hill. I can drive 5 miles away and it's not present. Louder in basement too. Summer months has periods of quiet. No active mines underground--only old ones, some flooded. No trains running close either. No large power sources since is mainly woods/farm fields/housing plans.

An Em resonance would provide a huge omni directional rumble or whine (just like a electric guitar) as for people feeling the earth shifting, if it is strong enough it will reset your equilibrium making you feel like the world was tilting and or shaking.

Notice the very strong solar storms happening right now, EM resonance is more probability than blasting from across the straight (that blast would have to be MASSIVE to be felt via vibration so far away)

@geebus80 very good point geebus! i know that on the 27th there was a huge x class solar flare and last week we had one that caused what was prob a geomagnetic storm over parts of the us! kinda odd for us to be gettin all these tornados too in the month of january. i just worry what april and may will be like! but then again maybe i will get to see my first twister up close and personal! prob jump right in just to leave the shit hole we live in! lol

EM resonance combined with shifting poles and recovering magnetic grids from strong solar activity.

Also the crazy high frequencies in the critical F2 layer imo has the potential to creat audible air vibrations because it is falling and rising in frequencies my such a massive amount of energy.

Or even a simpler theory that it is akin to the "hum" we hear from strong elec current

@geebus80 I had told several people that the audible sound sounds very similar to "Space sounds" or "Planetary Sounds". I was thinking that maybe with these storms, people are actually hearing and feeling the Low Frequency atmospheric reverberations. Which would explain things shaking above the ground, but not the ground itself... It's just a theory I have, but it's plausible.... And not unheard of....

@jstark069 look @ the critical F2 layer my friend, the amount of energy that is gained and dispersed with those frequency ranges is immense.

They are abnormally high and go very very lower then back upto very very high, this shift could cause air vibrations or (Omni directional sound)

MY 22yr old son had a dream two night's ago that he saw a massive tidal wave from Laguna to Long Beach ... just wipe across all the cities. He said in his dream he was at a higher elevation further back watching this happen. But that there were these survival pods that you could climb in and shut and just ride out the wave.

a year and half ago, I heard the Boom in Boston, I thought it was a plane crashing. but after I thought the near by power plant was over heating. it also sounded like wind turbines. side note may not be related, 2009 threw current I felt what can only be described as tunneling or a train beneath the ground. Growing up and working on the Big Dig, i know what tunneling sounds like, as well as airplanes and trains, being that I lived over a train station and under a runway for a 3rd of my life..

I hear same thing here by Pittsburgh--right now, in fact -- yet no active mines, only old ones... and no trains nearby. Louder in basement & too low frequency to record w/regular equipment. "The Hum" it's called now & on Wiki because many locations worldwide are reporting it--just like now the above-ground sounds.
