Unfortunately this isn't a reverse blade katana because you can see the acid etching on the right side. So, that was one dramatic slap on the wrist.

A martial art is about killing, or it is able to kill. Jackie Chan is able to kill you, with his fists and feet, in art.

Everything else is sport. Try your saber fencing against longsword fencing in an "deadly" bout (Of cousre not really deadly), and by all respect, you won't be able to live on. While your aim is to score, his aim is to kill. You might go for his arm, but he will go for your throat, head or an imp. organ.

At the same time, the saber is far lighter & faster than a broadsword. Speed kills.

Ummm, the final cut was executed with the mune, the back of the blade. Not really effective... ;) ...and even dangerous hitting a target. Nice tricks and camera though, but remember, what you see here has nothing to do with actual fighting.
