A H3 can go off road to a certain extent, a H3 is an offroad car as much as a Mini Cooper S is a sports car, it can drive down a dirt road nicely but when it come to serious off road it cant keep up. Have a look at Jeremy Clarkson on off road vehicles!!!

I like the H3, it's bigger, wider, & better looking... to me. Test both the jeep, and an H3... I bought my H3 an 07 for less than 20K it is fully loaded and had 15K miles on it. They really are a nice truck, handle well, incredible maneuverability. But to each his own, as for which is better Jeep or Hummer, I like the Hummer, my brother likes his Jeep, my other brother has the Escalade (SP?) so we have a nice chance to compare the three, personally I wouldn't toss any of them out of my garage
