Very informative, but I second the call for someone to make a video of this device in action on someone with some body fat to measure. It's sorta hard to find the hip bone if you've got some fat in the way!
dumb question coming your way. For this specific tool, can it only be done in that suprailliac area? You would not use this tool on say...your thighs or arms?
Excellent vid. Really informative..... However, Just wondering if you could find a fat friend.... someone with some fat to measure. All these vid's have athletic people with bugger all fat. Me I'm a fatty (25%).... hopefully not for long... finding the right spot to measure is a tad more difficult... you may remember things like the love handles etc that get in the way?. That would be helpful to us with the excess..Thanks again for the video
Really great info man. I'm thinking of doing the exact same thing. Lowering calories on a clean diet until I reach around 10-13% BF and then start carb cycling to get cut.
@Kryptsanies I got the abs from a combination of pretty strict eating and regular exercise. The eating consists of 5 or 6 small to medim-sized meals per day. The exercise was a combination of resistance training and cardio work. Getting the abs was a challenge. Keeping them hasn't been that difficult....but I think everybody's experience is unique (i.e. it may be easy for some and difficult for others).
@datpace I know exactly what you mean. I have only once cut down to see all of my abs and during that time of dieting I lost significant amount of muscle. I'm thinking of maybe starting carb cycling this time around. What are your thoughts on ketogenic and carb cycling diets?
@Kryptsanies If carbs are cut out of the diet (e.g. in a Ketogenic diet), the body will likely convert some muscle to glucose through gluconeogenesis. This process was what was behind your muscle loss. So, I'm not a huge fan of ketogenic diets. Most people can get as lean as they want by reducing their calories a bit, eating a clean and balanced diet (proteins, essential fats, AND carbs), and exercising. However, if you want to get super cut, carb cycling is the way to go, dude.
Thank god I found this. I wasnt using the slider the whole time and now that I am I just put on 10 lbs of lean mass.
