The bombers did do extremely well to beat the 2006 runner up and also the 2006 premier both by 1 point but.... was this win over the Eagles better then the one in 2004 with James Hird scoring the winning goal? In my opinion, NO

the two years before that was 2005 and 2006. the premiers in 05 were sydney. the premiers in 06 were the eagles. as Skafman said, essendon had beat the swans, the premiers from 2005, and then they also beat the premiers of 2006. you should use your own advice more often in life.
