Hutch and Dodi told me about the poet and scholar Hammad al-Harrani from Haran, Turkey and he relocated to Egypt. Haran is located along the plains of the middle Tigris. This is the origin of the name Haarani and Tiger. Lily is from the German song Lili Marleen (girl under the lamp post).
