American ships and seamen are of the highest quality in the world. The only reason third world slobs like Greeks have a bigger fleet is cause they operate at a much lower cost and pay their crews shit.

It's a shame that Greeks are the worst, then, because I just heard that Greece has more merchant ships flying its flag than any other country. I also hear the US container ship fleet these days isn't much to talk about either.

well thats third world shipping for you. Greeks are notoriously the worst though. In my years in the U.S. fleet the most pitiful and filthy excuses for sailors (unlicensed and officers alike) were from Greece.

Greece is no third world country.

Dont forget about the Danish, English, Dutch, Norwegian and many more European seamen.

(And they are a lot less arrogant then Americans)

So get your facts right!

I used to hate lashing up MSC ships, their gear is always filthy & rusted or doesnt work at all,then they want everything double lashed with 3 highs on every box.

I used to love turfin all their bottles, bars & twistlocks off the side of the ship into unsuspecting jellyfish.
