  • lol look at that audi so fken ugly. Germans rip off interior and exterior performance? lol we drive in the city half the time cmon luxurious never goes away.

  • i saw one yesterday in a pearl-like color. it was one of the most amazing colors i've ever seen, certainly one of the best-looking cars ever. happy new year indeed!

  • i love a car that drives like a "silk". i love mercedes and other luxury cars for that reason. although i do like to go fast sometimes, comfort is number one thing for me when driving. i'm trying to choose between infiniti g37 or lexus. infiniti is sportier.. but lexus is said to be more comfortable ride..

  • my second choice after the LS, this is a very relaxing car i've been told.

  • LOL how did they get the front light to move without moving the wheels?

  • Do older versions of this model live up to its current version. It's obviously cheaper getting a 2000 or earlier model.

  • Lol nightbird... U don't have no Mercedes

  • This car is like SILK, seriously, its quiet, soft and super plush. Love it, i don't care what people say about it being a elderly car.

  • I think the Acura TL is better looking...although many people may think otherwise....

  • @ratonL agreed - I bought a TL over this one. See my other review

  • Gorgeous car. And I love that red wine paint work.

  • What's the point of buying an ES? The LS, GS and IS have covered the big, medium and small luxury classes. It seems the ES is what you buy if you can't afford the medium sized GS model...and the ES is front wheel drive...blahhh

  • my friend Sharon is worth at least 6 million; and she drives & loves the ES. The IS is too small, and the GS is somewhat over done for a 62 year old woman. She has owned Avalons for years, and the ES is much more than she would ever need or want.

  • Does it makes you feel cool dropping names and numbers? Aren't you special that you know someone who is wealthy.

  • @gxxr1130 yeah, i truly feel privileged to know someone who is worth 6 million. Because she is the richest person I know; and the fact that my mother drives an audi Q7. I'm sorry, but pretty much everyone around here owns something over 40k, and the fact that my mothers friend is worth 6 million because her dead husband used to be vice president of American Standards Company. AKA Trane. So yes I do feel cool dropping names and numbers; as much as you do being an ass.

  • Does talking about money and other successful people make you feel like you are something? My friend's stepfather has two Phantoms and literally is worth more than everyone you know COMBINED. Do you see me or anyone else that is normal bragging? Get a life. No one cares about your moms car or you rich neighborhood that you aren't even apart of outside of being related.

  • @gxxr1130 You people are so gullible, and props for using my joke as a way to brag about whom you know!

  • Who said I believed you, but that's even more pathetic to conjure up a story like that. If you had any intelligence or cognitive reasoning you would see that I used my story to show how I and most people do not name drop. Therefore I was not bragging, I was showing you are foolish you are. I'm not going to respond to any more of your feeble replies.

  • Uhhh, you just answered your own question. But why waste money on a GS when the ES is what you need.

  • actually , if you dont have money to buy a GS, you will get IS. Since they are both sporty seden. And if you dont have 100 grands to buy a LS, you will get a ES.

  • not really. i'd prefer audi a4.

  • Too bad this car doesn't have a 6 speed manual as an option.

  • This car is so boring i rather stick with Infiniti or BMW.. Yes this car offers luxury , but what buyers is Lexus trying to attract with this car. It looks like a Grandma should be driving this. Its a nice car, but the only cars Lexus offers for the youth is the IS and the GS other then that im expecting entrepreneurs to be driving the Ls and maybe the Es.

  • Is the Lexus Es produced in any other country besides the US?

  • All the models sold in the United States under the Lexus logo have been available in Japan under blander Toyota names. The Toyota versions came with simpler interiors and options and, in some cases, lower prices.

  • Before it was taken off the market in Japan in December in anticipation of the Lexus introduction, the Lexus GS series of sedans was sold here as the Toyota Aristo. The Lexus IS sedans, which are priced at more than $30,000 - sometimes well above that - in the United States, were sold in Japan as the Toyota Altezza, with a list price around $25,000. The SC430, a two-seat sports car, was called the Toyota Soarer.

  • dude the SC430 is a 4 seater.

  • yes, but I'm talking about the version vailable in japan!!!!

  • Nice car if you love a smooth ride. This car is boring and it is hard for me to reverse in the car. It is hard to see the rear from the window.

  • Pls see "5 seconds break into 2009 Lexus ES350 part 1 " .

    Tks.

  • The ES is Lexus's best selling Luxury Mid-Size Sedan just to let you know >.>

  • i love the colour of the car presented in the video

  • My big thing when I test drove the ES is two fold

    1) Its too smooth. It's like driving on silk and very responsive, the best and lightest feel I've ever had, but i like that feel of the road and felt a disconnect when driving.

    2) It's just not a car for anyone under 35 - it's not a very cool car nor a car your very likely to feel proud driving when others are rolling Cadillacs, BMWs, Acuras, etc. At 26 that's an issue.

But it is a marvellous car, minus age bias of mine.

  • You have good arguments. It's a matter of choices. I personnally like the smooth ride. I don't want to feel the road. I live in Canada, and streets are all destroyed here because of the winters. And I am 27 also.

And my problem with Cadillacs, BMWs, Acuras. Is that everybody have them. I didn't want to look like everybody else. I feel like I am driving something more unique. And I can't get away from it's comfort!

  • @AnteaterCharger Have to disagree with you on the age bias, its a great looking car regardless of age. I'm on the edge of 35, but I think I would have bought one of these regardless of age, their styling is ageless. I will admit my car has a purse hook though, haha.

  • @AnteaterCharger I'm 16 and i like it. I like buicks lucerne. I hate bmw's

  • @AnteaterCharger Hey how is reliability??

  • We went to check out 3 vehicles today of which include this es350, gs350, and mercedes e350. The benz was a utter disappointment in every way compared to the es. Unforunately, my dad fell for the es350 but I still prefer the gs350. I like the best of both worlds (power and luxury) though the es holds its own.

  • My G35x only have 17 city & 24 highway.......I live in NYC, my average gas milage is 14.3......

  • i'm talking about ES . ES has better gas mileage then GS

  • if u want luxry and better gas mileage

    this is it...

  • lexus and camry cant be compared.lexus is all time best

  • Actually they can when this ES350 and the Camry ride on the same platform.

  • lets put it this way, the ES is a Camry on steriods!!! Much better!

  • Competitors include the Cadillac CTS, Acura TL, Infiniti G, and Lincoln MKZ.

Standard features include air conditioning w/dual-zone climate controls, interior air filter, power tilt/telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel w/radio controls, cruise controls, 10-way power front seats, power sunroof, keyless start, 6-disc CD changer, iPod connection, compass, universal garage door opener, and outside-temperature indicator.

Options include leather upholstery, memory system, navigation system, etc

  • I'd rather have a Cadillac CTS.

  • I think that people ranking you down for saying that are funny. Apparantly you're a jerk for prefering another product. Rating someone down for that makes them look like fanboys. So I ranked you back up! haha

Anyway, I agree. And at the lower price range, the '10 LaCrosse CXS AWD would have my money!

  • I like the car, i still think its a re-badged camery

  • how is that a bad thing? Camery build quality is best in the world. My dads benz spend a lot of time at the dealership.

  • I think its a ugly car but all the features and ride quilty out wieghs its uglyness.

  • great review

  • @aqhuang1 And a great car, don't forget that =)
