This is the 3rd crappy Edguy album in a row. Rocket Ride sucked and that album sounds so much better now when compared to the this and tinnitus. Just say it, the album blows.
Speaking of Iced Earth, are you looking forward to Dystopia, CoverKiller? Have you heard the free re-recording of "Dante's Inferno" and would you review it?
@coverkillernation cool , i just personally didnt expect it to be all that great after your review , but I was blown away after buying it ! I only like anthrax with belladonna though
Excellent review as always. I got the album Monday ( pre order ftw ) I agree, not every track on this is a knock out. But 2/7, Robin Hood, Behind The Gates to Midnight World and Breathe are some of my favorite tracks of this year! Though my fav is still Folklore from Heritage.
Anywho, great to see this added to your Album Review catalog. =) It just made me love this album 10 times more. :3
Machine Head and Trivium in the same sentence? Either you heard a dud of an album or you have moss growing from your ears [ Don't take offense but sarcasm out of surprise]. I heard the new album and I thought it was really good overall, will take a few more listens before comparing it to the previous work but right now it stands at an 8/10 for me and I wasn't the biggest fan of the Blackening always preferred the first three albums. Then again to each their own man, sorry you felt.
nice review dude

2/7 intro is similar to Van Halen-Why Can't This Be Love.

great review - it you want something more epic you should check out the new Rhapsody of Fire album - they have developed a lot - its pretty great

The quiet riot cover was very well done. While I like the new album, The band should consider bringing more Mandrake elements.
