Why was that guy bleeding when he was in the woods ? And why the other two men saw him bleeding and ran away ? I mean he is bleeding they should try to stop the bleeding and help him right ? And why is Kawamoto's skin all blistered ? And in a trance ? And how is he able to disappear from the hospital with his broken ankles ? Hmm I'm confused :(
my grandma told me a similar story about a ball of fire & its called BOTATTO. There are 2 kinds, the evil & the good. They were often spotted at Mt. Kaman-Paguey where my grandma's farm is located. The evil one's would burn people & houses down or will give bad luck, the good ones would light your path till you've reached your house specially if you got lost, they give gold too. I asked her if she had seen one, she only gave me a great big smile, thats the time ive noticed her golden molars lol
can u explain the part where they compare the video captured on the mountain with the guy saying "soon it will come" to the video of the other guy saying "im Outomo"? I dont get what the similarity between the 2 video/words are...
@ProjectILT When he says "I'm Outomo" it sounds as if he is using the end of his name "mo" as the beginning of the phrase "Mou sugu kimasuyo". It's very subtle.
ah, yay!! thank you so much for your hard work, monte.
i thought this one wasn't scary at all compared to the curse, the unidentified, and white eyes. the mystery was really compelling, though. it kept my interest to the end!
@W81HotPotLickin2nd As a matter of fact, yes, I've had what you would certainly call ghost encounters in Japan. At one point I even thought about making a video talking about one of the experiences, but then I felt it was too much of an open door to something that is rather a personal thing, so it probably won't happen. But to answer your question, yes, I've had these kind of experiences several times.
Thank You Soooooooooo much for subbing this movie! We really do appreciate it.
This movie had me watching from beginning to end, and in a lot of ways, it reminded me of 'Noroi' (which I absolutely loved), but it left me so completely empty. The buildup & suspense was fantastic though..unfortunately, it didn't really provide anything at the end. I was also expecting something to happen to that prick w/glasses (Nishimura), but no.
Maybe there's a second film that's going to be coming out...
@fatjuicy I loved Noroi too. It set a standard in "found footage" horror films that is hard to top. Personally, I really liked this film (The Mountain Incident) because the story is well crafted and it didn't go overboard with the mystery. It kept things within relatively believable parameters while being genuinely creepy. Also, it allows for your imagination to fill in the gaps, which is what makes Japanese horror so special. Thank you very much for watching and for your message.
@Nickey94 these are 'found footage' flicks much like The Blair Witch Project, REC, etc. it gives horror movies a more realistic feel but it's still sci-fi
very well-done movie!
well, this movie really engaging!!
the minus part is only the annoying man in orange jacket..
