@sesselfurzer2000 Where did you lose your eyes man? It was an illegal pass, don't be funny. Badoer didn't force off anyone. He was slow, but Sutil was being behind him, and had to leave on the grass, becouse he was much faster. But should have given back gained position, becouse it was'nt fair. That's my conclusion.
@CrusPOL So why didn't the stewards punish Sutil? Those people aren't just stewards, there's always one former F1 driver with the stewards. And if the come to the conclusion that this was a legal pass then it was a legal pass. Period.
@Lolzilol123 Tell a race car driver to slow down. You can't do that in a situation like that. I bet you every driver would have taken the longer way around the car.
@Mcquiz91 Oh yeah, Deletraz was really bad, too. And Alex Yoong. And Ricardo Rosset. And Narain Karthikeyan. These guys made mediocre paydrivers like Pedro Diniz or Olivier Beretta look really good ;-)
I just found out about the website f1rejects . com. Looks quite informative when it comes to bad drivers...
@r0fflec0pt well the other option was crash into him...badoer made a mistake then tried to block sutil....no other choice was available. but yes, i agree tarmac runoffs suck dick, no punishment for pushing hard and making a mistake anymore
@garethkielty Badoer stayed on the racing line, the other options for Sutil were a) simply to brake b) to left the track, but let Badoer pass again. And if you are honest, it would not have been a difficult job to overtake slow Badoer at the end of the lap
@r0fflec0pt technically its not because a) he had nowhere else to go and had to run wide b) going around the outside like that is considered extending the track instead of cutting it, but yes in theory he did have 4 wheels off the track so he should have let him repass
@r0fflec0pt Well,apart from cutting chicane you get advantadge but here is the opposite.He went wide and still was faster than him,so this wasn't supposed to benefit for Sutil but made his job harder.
@shoeme69 good that you know so much about racing and f1 cars that you can actually tell what driver was thinking and actually its slower than normal track so it really doesnt count as cheating if you go wide there cause you lack alot grip in that runoff oh and i see he is struggling there was faster than loeb some points in tarmac :p
that was as much avoidance as it was a overtake, if he didn't go around badoer the nose of his force india would have been mated with a ferrari gearbox.

the runoff areas should be covered with gravel, running off on asphalt means no lost time...

Badoer forced Sutil off the track. So this is a legal pass.

@sesselfurzer2000 There wasn't a former drive rwith the stewards at that time. THat only came about in 2010.

@sesselfurzer2000 Where did he force him off? Sutil was a long way behind, why couldn't he just slow down instead of going off track?

@sesselfurzer2000 I think so, too. That doesn't mean that it's a legal move, he should've given the place back.

i'm amazed that somehow he was not notified from pits that Force india car is closing in... otherwise they would crash ofcourse...

@r0fflec0pt
It is, because Sutil didnt cut the corner. His way was longer than the Ferraris´. So its legal.
wefu1899 6 months ago
good pass but didnt stay in the track so id say that was an illegal maneuver

@carbonfreak989
the rule don't say actually anything about cutting. you just must have 2 tyres inside lines when you go pass, otherwise it's illegal
PaskoinLattialle 11 months ago

Its a spectacular pass
asturiasdixebra 6 months ago
@r0fflec0pt no, thats when u cut the corner;) sutil used more track instead of less so thats why he didnt get penalized
zanbimaru 6 months ago
@r0fflec0pt if the car being overtakes forces the overtaking car off the circuit in the process of the manouver, its still a legal pass
godofapplez 5 months ago
@r0fflec0pt but you cant just push a driver off the track like that!
pp2devane 5 months ago
@r0fflec0pt not really since sutil drove a longer way and avoided contact.
grinmaster1 4 months ago
@r0fflec0pt not if he was going this line to avoid a crash?!
Tobiiimnrw 3 months ago
@r0fflec0pt It's not becouse Badoer was really too much slow! The other solution was a crash...so it's illegal to avoid a crash?
