  • Adventures of Bayou Billy sounds nice

  • hes like u guys suck. lets scrap the project. haha

  • @djluicidal No, the project isn't being scrapped, the game is just being changed.

  • Try Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest on NES.

  • Mickey's Dangerous Chase for the Game Boy perhaps.

  • I think, walk trough and comments about TMNT 1 could work better. I have hard time beat this game (even on an emulator) . TMNT2 was a cool game, but didn't have much to comment on : it's just straight forward and beat them all up.

Great work from you on the videos anyway.

  • @XOneGameR He's already done a walkthrough/review of TMNT 1.

  • Oh, and I would suggest Kid Chameleon!

  • I'm just really happy I was designated level 6, so high up! <3

  • Maniac Mansion or Adventures of Bayou Billy come to mind Ken. There's a variety of things to do in those games.

  • @timsalmons1982 Maniac Mansion sounds like the better of the two- lots of variety, not just among the characters, but also with the different paths, glitch exploits, and endings (Bernard and Wendy in the party can get you a hilarious one if you time things right). With all the options available, it should make a collab more of a fun project that stands a chance of being better than some of the other review collabs I've seen.

  • def batman the video game for the fan collaboration and i really hope you end up doing tmnt 2 and 3, especially 2 ive been waiting for that review forever lol

  • Ever Heard of Digger T. Rock? [NES] Has a lot of potensial as it's made by Rare, & the 6th level Music sounds like that of Battletoads Level 4! And I also have 2 Remixes of the Music for you to use at your Disposal! ;)

  • @therealKINDLE That's because they're both composed by David Wise.

  • i think a RPG may be the way to go...

  • maybe that chip n dale rescue rangers game lol

  • @EricNos24 Which Rescue Rangers game? Part 1 or Part 2? Personally, I liked Part 2 better...

  • Crystalis? i think it may be a little too bland though...thats off the top of my head

  • I would've suggested Metal Gear Solid, but you already did that one. ^^;

It needs to be a BIG game. Something where a lot of information will be useful, so that you can get as many good voice clips in as you can. Hmm...

AH! Ninja Gaiden! There's plenty to talk about there!

  • Maniac Mansion would be a good game to do this on.

  • River City Ransom. It's a good beat 'em up that most gamers know, and to the experienced player, there are specific and unique areas, shops, and bosses to share knowledge.

  • Hell Yeah @ OldSnoova thats what Im talkin bout

  • Kid Niki Radical Ninja.

  • dued i am not saying anything bad . keap doing what you do but cmon ... AVGN dos stuff and you just copy it most of the time try somthing new

  • Bubble Bobble on NES...still my favorite NES game ever...and 100 levels each with a stratedy

  • Comment removed

  • contra

  • DO SNAKE RATTLE N ROLL

  • master blaster

  • You should do dragon warrior 2

  • crystalis would be a good one, if not a fan collab solo would be awesome

  • Crystalis would e a good one

  • sword master

    shadowgate

    robo warrior

    gun smoke

    dejavu

    uninvited

    batman

    batman: return of the joker

  • Ha, i complete forgot about this, i was going to send in something but things got in the way ^^; but its cool

what about a lesser known game like Burai Fighter, Captain Skyhawk or Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu?

  • I'll say Sonic 2.

  • I think that Final Fantasy 1 or 6 would be great for a walkthrough /review fan collab.

  • Dragon Warrior IV. Take the plunge.

  • @vulpix

    I second Dragon Warrior 4!

  • To be fair, in my humble opinion, the most you could get out of the review/walkthrough on TMNT2 is a strategy on the bosses and maybe the stage select and 10 lives codes.

  • I completely forgot you where doing this fan collab and I still have the original file that I sent you for level 4 the ice stage. Well it's ok you decided to pull the plug on this maybe it's for the best.

  • Whatever dude. Just keep reviewing games from our era and I'll be there to support your channel. Suggestion for a game: maybe Ducktales. Either way, I like your vids because you feature NES games and you give an honest review. Your the meng, meng.

  • I second FisherSmurf's idea. Bionic Commando would work well, I think.

  • Wow, I have not heard from this collab review in like two years. It's a drag that it isn't going to be released but it has its reasons. I would highly sugguest Earthbound. mostly because just about EVERYONE I know has played it. Secondly, there's a ton of stuff to talk about in that game so that everyone can have a chance to mention something.

  • Bionic Commando

  • Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!! would be pretty good for the fan collab.

    ~ Jethro.

  • Star Tropics is a great NES game. it's really fun and really well made, the second one, not so much. You could do a fan collab with that or at least play it as a walkthrough at some point. The graphics and music are great and the ending is extremely well done for an NES game. It's one of my all time favourites and a real hidden gem.

  • How bout super mario bros. f the nes

  • Ah that's too bad. =( Although to be honest I'd almost forgotten that you were even doing this thing. =P I don't have a really grand idea but maybe Ocarina of Time, though you mentioned you wouldn't want to do the Zelda franchise. So I dunno, got nothin' right now.

  • Some suggestions: Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!, S.C.A.T., Bucky O'Hare, Duck Tales, Battletoads/Double Dragon, Clash At Demonhead, Metal Storm, Star Tropics, Shatterhand, Nightshade, Journey To Silius, Demon's Crest, Kirby Superstar, Super-Punchout!, Secret of Mana, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, NBA Jam series, Earthworm Jim, Final Fight series, Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage series. How about a 8 &16 bit era shoot 'em up collaboration?

  • How about a fan collab of Pokemon Red & Green. Everybody agree to that?

  • Action 52 would be hilarious, but nobody has really played it.

  • Faxandeau for the NES

very under rated game and was a great game too

  • The Road Rash series on the Genesis would be great for a review, but not so much a walkthrough.

For a fan collab, I suggest Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage

  • Legend of Zelda for the NES I think that might work

  • @AshED65 yea, everyone has played that

  • Youve been promising a Mario 3 review 4 so long, why not do it as a fan collab? the game is great for the muliple paths and warp zones that it has.

  • I think a strategy game would be perfect for a walkthrough. My idea is one of the Fire Emblem games, in particular Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. I found that to be a fairly difficult game. The walkthrough could consist of walkthroughs of specific chapters or a character guide.

  • Actraiser

  • Do a fan collaberation of a Zelda game. They are well known and there are lots of unique ways to play them.

  • If you'd like me to be a part of a fan collab, I'd be glad to do MC Kids on the NES. I know a lot of people hate that game, but I know enough about it to provide a good enough walk through of it. If you decide to do that game, let me know which levels you want me to record a narration for, and I will do my best to record my audio and send it to you, just so long as I have your email address.

  • Keep up the great work!

  • xmen and spider man in arcades revenge

  • How about "Blades Of Steel" for the NES? Maybe "Risk" or "Mortal Kombat" for the Sega Genesis?

  • 2:09 Oh I've got one. Super Mario Land on Gameboy!

  • i already commented talking about why mario 3 might be a good but then i saw someone comment kid icarus and changed my mind, that would be a good one, a fun game and an informative walkthrough i think a lot of ppl know about it but not everyone can say they have beaten it (i cant get past the first level myself)

  • i understand not wanting to do a big hitter fanchise like mario but because of how long it would take you to do it solo if you did a no-warp walkthrough and because of how many ppl know so much about it i think Mario 3 would work great for a fan collab

  • How are you not a partner?! You're one of the best guys on here!

  • Oh you didn't really disapiont me. I don't even like Ninja Turtles. I'm not even a fan of it.

  • one of the longer early rpgs would probly be the best idea for something like this. can't think of any good ones right now though.

  • Shining Force for the Genesis!

    Really underrated RPG!

also my personal fave RPG ever :)

  • Legend of Legaia on PSX. Damn good rpg.

  • Journey to Siliusm

    Kid Icarus,

    or Metroid on the NES

Or an Alternate to TMNT2 and have Turtles Tournament Fighters on the SNES.

  • Zombie Ate My neighbors for SNES or Gen

  • i remember when my brother and i were kids, we each got a total of $60 in christmas money one year. he was thrifty, and bought three games for $20 each (a boy and his blob, skate or die 2, and i forgot the third), but i knew better and spent all $60 on just ninja turtles 2, which is still one of my all-time favorite nes games.

    .

"cool story, bro." ...there, i beat you to it.

  • I can help with a review for Gauntlet: Dark Legacy for the PS2. Sure, the PS2 hasn't exactly reached classic status, but this is one of the first games to come out on the console.

  • I saw Startropics that would be good, but I have a few other suggestions:

    Batman

The Guardian Legend - which is kind of obscure, but easy to come by

Clash at Demonhead - which certainly has enough to talk about

    Batman

    Little Nemo

  • do an RPG, and if you don't wanna do one of the heavy hitters, choose one of the low brow ones, like Lufia, Jade Cacoon or Secret of Mana, mainly i think an RPG would work, is cause of the heavy story, graphics, game play, everyone can throw in their opinion, there will be a lot of room for it

  • Howbout a game w/ like a million characters in it, then your fans can role play one of those characters.....

    anyway thx for the update!!

  • Action 52.

  • Ghostbusters on Sega Genesis.

  • i would love to be a part of this. how about some thing underrated but alot of fun to talk about like startropics or clocktower or something

  • Actually I think either a Final Fantasy game or Castlevania 2 would work perfect if your doing a fan colaberation thingymajiggy

  • yo noid

  • you should do TMNT Tournament Fighters for SNES. Yes its a fighting game, but its very difficult. You really need a good strategy to beat that game.

  • Yeah, I'm going to have to weigh in with Splatterhouse arcade. Just in time for Halloween if we rush it!

  • STAR TROPICS for the NES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    super underrated fun NES game!

  • Little Nemo the Dream Master.

  • How about Metal Storm for the NES?

  • Nightshade or Shatterhand?

  • @clairefedfield yeah either the snes or ps1 games

  • "Mickey's Dangerous Chase" for the game boy.

  • I have this game.

  • Splatterhouse, arcade version

  • Bubble Bobble Part 2? No, Snakes Revenge? Maybe, how about, Bionic Commando, (or did you do that one already) anyway I gave my choices hope you choose one!!!

  • Maybe something big like Chrono Trigger? Too ambitious? It would allow for more people to be involved.

  • Super Mario Brothers 3 I think would work out great with this.

But if you insist you dont want to do a game like that, maybe something like Metroid would do.

  • How about Star Fox?

  • Adventures of Lolo ...maybe

  • I'd cry if we did Battletoads. XD Just saying.

...Y'know, though, I admit that would open up the door for all -kinds- of inventive swearing, raging, and other kinds of frustration-venting. Especially if you wanted to throw in some of your own input into such a video.

"Let us introduce you to the Terra Tubes. Or as I've taken to calling it...The Man Maker. As if this whole game shouldn't be called that, but still..."

  • Seeing how you kick ass at Capcom games, I think Little Nemo deserves a shot from you guys. Great music, rite amount of difficulty, rite amt of stages, it rules! BTW, ty for doin what you doin. Your originality & offbeat humor made me do a whole playlist of your NES & up reviews & its kinda popular itself! Here's hopin for another 10K!

  • LOL. I totally forgot about this project. I remember telling you over two years ago I was going to send you something. I guess in this case my procrastination paid off. LOL. I have no idea what game we should do, but look forward to voting on the final choices. Also, congrats on 10K. Seems like you should have much more!

  • @AqualungGameReviews Why not something like Crash Bash or Chrono Cross? Maybe Megaman 9? How bout something shitty like Yu Yu Hakusho: Spirit Detective for the Game Boy Advance? Or Rygar? Little Nemo the Dream Master? Sailor Moon for the Snes/Genesis? How about something very obscure like X-Men 2: Clone Wars on Genesis? Or Garfield: Caught in the Act for the Genesis? Maybe a Sega Saturn Game? :3 Endless Possibilities!

  • Zombies ate my Neighbors.

Honestly this would be amazing as a fan collab

  • Maybe an action RPG like Willow for the NES. Kinda long for one person, but not that long of a game so it would be overwhelming to edit together.

  • My suggestion is Castlevania; Symphony of the Night, And don't assume I'm not in touch with the era the games you usually focus on. I know SOTN isn't super retro, but it's a game that is unknown to 70%,of todays gamers, praised by 25% and 5% doesn't like it. Besides that, there are a huge range of strategies for the game, like how to take down individual bosses, how to choosSe the order of bosses or areas, witch weapons to grind for, etc.

If it has to be 70's or 80's, then Simons Quest.

  • Battletoads.

    Tons of level variety

    Lots to talk about

A game that definitely requires a thorough walkthrough

Only cons are the unforgiving difficulty, and that it may have been played out too much for most people. Still, it is a tempting idea.

  • im going to say Mother 1 but also what if the fan project was one of those games that you have been asked to do for ages

  • rescue rangers!

  • I recommend the NES game Rygar for the game collab.

  • @PlusmaGun I second that recommendation!

  • Right, interesting. Looking forward to more information and stuff.

  • @AqualungGameReviews hello can you do a review/walkthrough on any of the clock tower games i would like to see you tackle a survival horror game like that if u can please message me back thank you

  • @doomguy912 Ooh I like that idea. An Aqualung review/walkthrough of Clock Tower for the SNES would be fun

  • Ducktales or Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers

  • @thenintendogamer He already did those, check all the videos on his channel.

  • @TheTerrificTracy Oh pff I knew that I just forgot.

  • KID ICARUS!

  • I still have the coupon for that free pizza.

  • @KillerKowalski7 can i have it? i'll give you a dollar.

  • duck tales

    battle toads

    metroid

  • Comment removed

  • @theleone900 He already did duck tales.

  • Try Uninvited or Shadowgate!

  • I vote for Crystalis for NES. It would lend itself well to breaking up into logical parts and isn't as restrictive as TMNT2.

  • epic!
