I beat asura level 40 down its not hard if you know what you are doing

i won at the first try. she was a bit easy.

i used blink to protect from counterattacks and i used edge to throw shurikens. i

could not use wall cuz Rosa was at lvl 39 (all others 45). Luckily when i used twincast , cecil and rosa, cast Ultima! then i won! =) now i have to beat leviathan.

Wow your levels are so high.

I fought her with:

Cecil lvl 57, Kain lvl 56, Edge lvl 60, Rosa lvl 60 and Rydia lvl 60

I had to get Rosa and Rydia to lv 60 so they will learn Holy and Flare.

I also got Edge to lvl 60 so he learnt his last spell and so he is stonger.

all u need is haste,slow,and blink

as well as shurikens

rose and edge are a great team because this boss only retaliates with attacks if u hit her first so with blink she cant hurt you and you can deal all the damage to her

everyone was dead except for edge (lvl44) and i forgot to use reflect on her. anyways the way i beat her was by using mirage and spamming shuriken it was epic lol

okay, for me i found a REALLY good way to fight her.

start off casting protect on your party, then reflect on her. SLOWLY cast blink on everyone, except edge who casts mirag eon himself. Then if you plan to use magic against asura cast reflect on edge as he can use mirage to blink himself. Withthat pound away on her and watch to keep everyone's blink status and her reflect on.

It worked for me and won in no time.

draw attack is probably an augmentation the user put on him.

This happens way after Yang supposedly sacrifices himself to prevent the dwarves from getting blown up with the cannons. Yang at this point is being taken care of by the Sylphs in the Sylvan Cave.

I just beat her. She was a pain in the ass. I had Cecil attack and had Rosa cast Cura and Reflect and had everyone else use hi-potions. It took about 30 minutes lol.

@sircrazyhead 1: it's a DS game thus graphics can't be great, on top of that, FFIV DS is so big, they had to cut on some stuff, notably the music quality and graphics.

2: Almost all other FF are known for great graphics, lol, get your facts stright!

I have underleveled characters and just beat this boss with no reflect DX.... its my second playthrough, so I got a few helpful augments, but still lol.... next is leviathen XD.... and you seem to know alot about FFIV, could you tell me what the ninja sutra does? ive always wondered lol

Hummmmmm... Asura was VERY tricky for me! :P

Her attacks pwned me very easily! So I just had Cecil get Draw Attacks and Counter, then only attacked with Cecil at careful interventions. But maybe it didn't help that I NEVER stop to train my dudes, I just directly walk from point A to point B, without stopping. (EXCEPT when completing a map area, I'm obsessed with completing stuff xP)

XD i beat her and yet... everyone else died... i had to rely on edge's blink (mirage) and throwing shurikens to knock down her HP... Levithan was soo much easier(hence the thundara/thundara attacks) and just protecting rydia and healing everyone else. (cast reflect on cecil so he can counter-attack if your lucky) and it was to easy... also you finished him faster than me! good job!

Asura isn't hard and my attacks were very effective!

Already Leviathan, that "guy" is easy alot...

Just be careful with Deluge and use attacks based on thunder. The victory is guaranteed!

My favorite boss ever, is Omega (First battled against it in Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls). He was the only boss in which it gave me so much damn trouble in defeating. And its words before the fight compelled me a lot. He is super awesome, and really freakin' hard, heheh.
