  • Really enjoyed this. ♬

  • such a great band!

  • ... t'aint Swarb though, is it .... :-(

  • Gosh, what amazing lyrics...absolutely perfect

  • Yes, they are lovely lyrics, but the band didn't write them. They're traditional, so nobody knows quite who wrote them.

  • Yeah, I know...Fairport didn't write half their songs, but the use of traditional material makes them cool =)

  • Also I think I was talking about how they were sung, not the words themselves - my bad.

  • you should listen to Peggy Gordon by Luke Kelly, same air different lyric, class aswell

  • Chris is doing such a great job. I am really glad to see him in Fairport. I saw them last in Boston in 04.

  • I don't know Ric. Nice vid

  • No it's Chris Leslie

  • He rang me on my B'day in 06!!!

  • Ollie, you're a lucky bugger

  • Is that Swarbrick on the right? Always loved this song.Beautiful.Now I'd like to hear Journeyman & Wizard Of The Worldly Game. :)

  • It's Chris Leslie.

  • 'Swarbrick's lead vocal version' is on 'Angel Delight' track 7 - listen and compare; 26 years apart. Both brilliant!

  • maybe, just maybe, the best song ever. cheers to whoever put this on

  • This is nice please see the budding new artist Ceilidh on my channel

  • hey, i to went to the winter tour 2006. I am a personal friend of Ric Sanders (fiddle player.)

  • Hi Jodi,
