So I bought my red rug today! I've been wanting one for like 6 years or something ridiculous like that.
I find it amusing that the smallest circle is the same size as the hoop I'm currently using and the circle up from that is just a bit bigger than the hoop I started with. ; )
I couldn't find it on iTunes when I looked a few weeks ago. I searched online, and discovered that it's on the Arabesque album, which I coincidentally already owned, but hadn't listed to much, obviously, hehe.
Beautiful work. :) Thanks for adding your mistakes at the end, it helps boost the confidence of us newbies! Do you know of anywhere online or on DVD where I could get a tutorial of that type of hand hoop play, not necessarily with two hoops, but in general? It looks like there's some funky hand twisting going on that I can't seem to get the hang of when I'm practicing.
Either way, thanks for posting such awesome and inspiring videos! :)
I love the ending of this one a lot. I've been thinking of doing the same thing to a song called "find the time", I used it at hoop camp. You have to find time to make mistakes otherwise you'll never learn :-) Lovely video's Miss Rosie.
That was great - was looking for a good video on double hooping. Love you Miss Rosie!

Man you're place looks sweet. I've always wanted one of those giant red rugs. Ikea better still have them by the time I buy a place.

You're cute. ; )
I like your smile when you fumble, I can tell the next thought in your head is excitement to try it again.

Very nice! I've really been trying to teach myself how to use twins and it's not such an easy concept to get on my own. You make it look so easy :)
Thanks for posting this lovely video!!

The song is Shashkin (Hefner remix) by Omar Faruk, off of the Arabesque compilation album.

This looks like it feels great! The hoops seem like a natural extension of your body and movements.
LOVE the bloopers.
