Everything was held together with AMAZING precision by the obviously perfectionist drummer. The flute and clarinet player added a nice 'flair' that is not often seen nowadays. The cello player provided the true essence of jazz not unlike Kenny G. This is obviously where New Orleans gets their inspiration.
If I had to offer some advice, I'd say the common chord modulations were a little rough, but with some more time and effort they could be worked out. The ritard at the end was very dramatic and worthwhile, and provided a very conclusive finale to such a wonderful chart.... These would be some comments one might make if you guys didn't suck as much at this song as Brittney Spears does at being a person.
It's high school man - they're doing fine. Good for you all for trying on a great song and not like the Star Wars theme or some such drivel. You sound good.
Not really... our band played better then this in middle school. It's just sloppy as a whole. Escpecially the drummer. Your stringed section is pretty good though.
