Hey, if you don't mind me asking, are you using an external mic for this blog. Or the built in mic on the 5d? If so, what kind of mic are you using? The audio and everything is GREAT on this. I'm looking into getting either the 7d or 5d mark 2 myself.

To be honest I'm going to myself because it does help a lot if your shooting narratives, the internal mic is great for the documentary style shooting but if you really want good audio id get the front mic attachment. Im considering getting the device that allows me to control audio levels too, but we'll see. It depends on what you want, but if you want to get good audio for character dialogue I'd invest in the attachment

I travel a lot for my job, so I try to make little video blogs of my journeys around the world, with my friends. So the mic would probably end up being a good idea. I think I might just get the camera first and try it out for bit, then decide from there. But your right, I'll probably end up getting the mic eventually anyway, hahaha.

Just saw the others. Your vid made me want to be there, seeing those things, hanging out with y'all. I think this has a bit of a "Departures" feel to it, which is IMHO the best travel show out...but then again I want to be there, seeing those things and hanging out with those departure dudes too!
