Hahaha witch craft! We had and 08' X5 3.0d (but a little chip tuned, on abouth 270-280hp)... m spoilers, full equiped, i think 22' rims. Now that car was like butter.
It's totally diferent from having a car.
Its like your still in your bed, but having alot of fund! (i mean you just have to turn the wheel).
But wait, why don't you buy a car in Germany, or Belgium? (prices there are alot cheaper),
@ScuderiaBull becuase the 180% is strike when i want danish license plates on the car. but im finishing my bachelor then im out of denmark so im not that worried :)
@ScuderiaBull you'll ned a german address to get get german plates on you car and you cant just rent a house in germany and register your stuff there and use it in denmark, then the tax authority will take your funiture and whatever they can get their hand on :)
you see, my father and i were talking about this (just yesterday),
and he told me that if you were lets say an Slovenian (their in the EU also) that you can go to Germany or any other Eu country and lets say buy a car.
You just sit in the car, and drive back home to Slovenia, and no body ask's you why you have foregin plates! (like it doesn't matter from where they are, as long as it's from the Eu)
@ScuderiaBull yes you can. And there are so many tricks out there. As an example take bmw, they know we have crazy tax so they put the base price of the car down a bit. This means that base price is low due to our 25% vat - the trick is then to live in germany, buy the car in denmark and bring it to germany, then you can pocket the difference between german vat and danish vat (19% in DE and 25% in DK) and you get a cheaper car. I know the porsche outlet in denmark is shipping truckloads to DE.
@ScuderiaBull@ScuderiaBull You are in luck :) Fortunately i have a picture of the board computer. Please keep in mind that at this time it had only been reset for 2 hours 30 minutes and my average speed in that time was 146,4 km/h. But it did that with 11,8 liters of diesel per 100km. I have posted the picture in the description cause i cant reply with that link here.
Unfortunately this was a run From Munich to denmark and I wasn't paying for the fuel so its not green driving
@ScuderiaBull I absolutely adored the car, Im trying to convince my dad of buying one but its very expensive here in denmark with 180% tax on top of car price. But it is very high quality, both build-wise and the driving dynamics. Its like a 7-series sedan. There isnt really any of that cheap plastic as we saw in the 1-series a couple of years back. But maybe ask your dealer if he can call the nearest dealer and ask if he has a high specced car on stock ?
@kedde1 , Dude wait, 180% tax? You mean if a car costs (figuratively saying) 100 000€, then you have to pay 280 000€? If that's true, then i'm sorry for that! (here in Croatia, it's 22%)
My dad loves the 5 series but sedan, not gt,
i'm more of an M3 cabrio type
So you say the car is super, that's good. (all dough i wonder, 300 diesel hp XD, that makes your macarony and cheese exit trough your mouth! (i know how a GL420cdi feels like, PURE brutality, 306hp and 700Nm. over 2.5T but fast as hell
@ScuderiaBull Correct, and our general VAT is 25% :) so its all paid for, and then some... :(
The M3 is also an amazing car, never driven it, but seen it quite a few times during my 2 years with BMW (in Munich and Auckland, new zealand) as an intern.
Im really into BMW's straight six diesels, its like they are running on witch craft.
@TheAmgalex I really enjoyed it, high comfort, excellet seating position and it just drove so smooth and yet responsive. Go see your dealer and go for a test drive, best way to find out if it is a car for you. Basically its a 7 series Touring :)
@TheAmgalex Hi I'm waiting for the 535d Xdrive too. I think it would be a very good and powerful car :-) When will your BMW come to you?And what colour have you ordered?
u got a link where i can buy that magamix ?

@kedde1 ,
What for? is it illegal to have German plates in Denmark? why pay 180% because of the plates?

@kedde1
Hey thanks!
Actually, 11.8L is quite good (considering that you were on the gas pedal most of the time).
So were you all around satisfied with the car? (I mean, i always look at the tinyest details, like plastics and build quality).
I was in a BMW dealer some day ago, but they only had 523i (petrol) with the lowest equipment u ever saw in a car.
Fabric seats (like in a golf 4), no leather anywere.
But with equipment, i guess it gets better

535d is the most logical luxury saloon car choice you can make today.
I think 0-60 is under 6 seconds and you can make this even less with a chip tunning.
