The gameplay seems to be a mix between a classic Dragonball fighting, with a lot of quick time events, and Sin and Punishment. The result looks great.

@vgman94 what im tryin to say is, that certain standalone hero badass that dominated past consoles is virtually extinct. im actually lookin forward to asuras wrath and darksiders II. and it the main reason why i enjoyed quantum theory(musclehead runnin an gunnin with a chick chasin behind him). games have been relegated to either rpgs or military fps. love rage, mw3. love skyrim,dungeon siege3. but bring back archetype badass.

There is a place for QTE games. sometimes it's the only way to make a game work. but the actions involved have to be so unbelievable, so over the top, that tey simply can not possibly be encompassed by the standard control scheme of a console game. The ten minutes of footage I just saw prove that this could be that game. that SINGULAR game of such epic proportions, where the ONLY way you could possibly play it it through QTE sequences.

just got done playing the demo, and i'm actually looking forward to this title. i'm not blown away by the gameplay to be honest, but i love the art direction and graphics. the story seems like it will be the driving factor behind this game which is great because sometimes i prefer a really good story over gameplay (sounds stupid, but its true.) it's like an anime God of War minus the good combat. definitely keeping an eye out for this one. this might be a sleeper hit.
