As a Scot, I can say you did very well and though it's not very authentic, I could still see your accent being readily accepted in any film! Well done. Beautifully done.

Its a very odd accent to get right. Even I'm confused about it. I even sometimes mistake a Northern Irish accent for a Scottish one.Everyone on tv seems confused about it too.You turn on Scottish tv and no one is quite sure whether they are being Scottish enough.It's bizarre.I think it's mostly to do with the fact tv and radio is mostly hosted by English speaker.When the rare opportunity for us to speak in our own accent comes about we get confused!So you did good x
my grandparents on my father's side immigrated from Scotland back in the late 20s early 30s. they're both gone now, but you did great bringing back their memories. thanks!
