  • Awesome!

  • Pavloff you're a fuckin marvel! This is just mental! What system do u have to run all this? Love knowing where all the samples come from though, very interesting. Amazing vids man!

  • ive just seen this and smack my bitch up, if you're not into it already, i STRONGLY suggest that you go into producing and making your own shit, id buy your records.

  • Very cool work, Jim! The download link appeared at the end of the vid. You might put this link in the description. Other than that, congrats!

  • Nice!! Check my remix soundclouddotcom/breakz/

  • I am a great fan of 'music from the gilted generation' and I have to say that I have never been so impressed by any remake ever! Well done! (Also 'Smack by bitch up' was amazing!)

I think i already can say that this is the most impressive video I will find on youtube this year!

  • 1:10 Johnny Pate - You're Starting Too Fast

  • and all this the year 1994 omg, Liam is a genious ..

  • @FrozenCrewGr You are so right. This has kinda Hit me hard! Is digital better than Analog? Maybe it is. I don't know anymore.

  • @therealKINDLE Nah there's just something with digital that you just CAN'T capture with analog, a warmth so to speak. I produce myself and I can tell you hardware just sounds SO much better than software!

  • @ryinger Don't you mean there is something about analog that you just can't capture with digital... Not the other way around?

  • insane!

  • very inspiring

  • Top videos... consider it shared.

  • youre amazing

  • Maaan, your app is not available in my country...

  • Thank God for Google Translator!

  • In which program he do that?

  • @johnpeivlik Ableton Live 8 ;)

  • tnx

  • I wish I had 0.1111199999th of your talent. Awesome.

  • 6:44 LOLOLOL

  • I get it all, but how the heck did you notice the part from Whole Lot a Love?

  • Wow!

  • holy shit

  • HOLY FUCK!

  • OMGawd! u got skillz brotha

    master skilzzz

  • Better than the original.

    Hats off dude.

  • sjof v parjatke!

    Congratulations! I am amazed.

    Greetings, from hungary!

  • @gigaZlo666 True!! But what a fake it is

  • NIje fora kopirati nego osmisliti...

  • thats amazing

  • This is an INCREDIBLE video. Well done! Totally inspirational and really well broken-down / produced as a video presentation too. Love Prodigy, Love sampling, LOVE Ableton!

  • but the Pro-53 was not available as software plugin in early 90s ! so assume they use the real Prophet synth !

  • my mind gets blown by this everytime i listne to it. the amazing job u did re-creating it, and the amazing job Liam did back when. TOO EPIC FOR WORDZ

  • Move out from the walls, bust out from the floors!

  • Great production skills. I salute you

  • I got a boner watching this.

  • this is insane.. this guy really has an ear! or he just stole the original!

  • Really good remake-well done!

  • its good that 17years ago Ableton is not yet created, otherwise this video will not be here and its seems everyone can be like Prodigy this days....gotta DL one..lolz

  • my respect to jimpavloff never mind the prodigy!

  • RESPECT

  • Sorry, can you tell me What's the name Vst presets of the lead synth? Thanks =)

  • You, sir... Are a fkin genius!

Awesome video, and even if you knew what the samples to use, there are stuff that needs some advanced programming. The lead synth needs to be drawn and look at the number of devices he hason on just one MIDI track to achieve the end result.

    Impressive mate. Cheers.

  • smart

  • 16 years ago, Cubase Audio, SoundEdit/ProTools, and friends, were already around. I remember tracking with Cubase Audio in 1992!

  • Cool project! And multfilm not bad))) iClone, Yes?

  • @EvolX1997 Yep it is iClone ;)

  • NICE!!!!!!

  • Genius comes in alot of forms, and in Liam's case it came as the ability to create killer tracks piece by piece.

  • fucking goosebumps

  • Man, you've just earned my eternal respect! :-))

  • lol this is better than the original XD

  • This makes me want to cry, seeing how awesome this is

  • It isn't seems easy. It's like Mona Lisa in MS Paint. I mean you must be able to draw.

  • amazing!!! prodigy (liam) is one of the biggest oldschool 'sampler-tracker' bands. i love them!!!

  • copypaste music

  • @z3139720 Really, I take it you've produced fifty songs as good as this. It's like playing the guitar, all the notes are there, it's just putting them together.

  • @z3139720 it might be cut and paste but theres an art to sampling to spot those samples before they are all stretched and repitched takes a special ear .....and its made him a very very very rich man !!!

  • people who pressed dislike button just read "dis i like!" :-)

  • You are a Genius!

  • BRAVO

  • if you put more "like" buttons underneath i will click all of them

  • this is awesome!

  • Pretty cool. Great work! Can you tell me something about the hardware you're using? I see a lot of tracks with a lot of plug-ins running - must be a very powerful machine, right?

  • what the track in Intro up to 11 sec ???

  • very cool :) good job nice vid too

  • Who would dislike this?!

  • @gakio12 I would

  • nekomu dazhe ocenit' moj tetanicheskij trud

  • Frankenstien Lives

  • This is by far the most impressive tute video I have ever seen!!!

  • Dude you need to do more prodigy songs, like off invaders must die

  • 31 people is not voodoo people!

  • @kuken166

    "are"

Besides, most of us aren't anyway. Stop trying to get top comment, these attempts are stupid and overused.

Back to the video, amazing job. I wish more artists put this much work into their songs.

  • @dragos240alt eeey your whining pussy, just because your life sucks your depressed bastard, does not mean I want to hear your fcking whining. go whine to someone else ... killjoy!!

  • @kuken166

Ignoring the wide variety of failed attempts at insulting me and the many spelling mistakes. I'm now working on learning japanese, some programming (java and C++ esp.)

Also. If you want to swear, swear, don't censor yourself.

Trolling is an art, if you didn't already realize, lurk more, go back to school, and stop acting so butthurt.

  • how did you find from where the samples came from?

  • @blink182ka You can find out where almost any sample comes from at whosampled(dot)com

  • I paused my porn to watch this.

  • @Nordligast not funny.

  • @Nordligast tis funny ;)

  • respect to jim pavloff for doing this but ,sorry, more respect to liam howlett. he is a genius and i know no one who could reach his skill...

  • absolutely amazing work ..

  • I dont even know what I'm looking at it but I love it

  • I am rarely commenting any stuff on YT, but I must say I've rewatched this video after a year and it still puts me in a huge awe, and i doubt it will ever change Superb work worthy of ultimate appraisals!

  • awesome :P

  • OMFG !! ARE U GOD =!?

  • You are a fucking genius!

  • lol, liam is freakin genius :O

  • He uses Reason now but all of the old tracks were made in Cubase

  • @Foxdodge Uses reason for parts of it. He uses ProTools with ReWire to Reason. He still uses analog gear for basslines etc afaik.

  • : O - this is all what can i say

  • So I'm Taking it that Liam H uses this software?????

  • @KitFistoWilkins I'm pretty sure that he uses Reason.

  • @LiNaK37 Oh cool thats really usefull you told me that. I have Reason

  • @KitFistoWilkins this software only available since 2001. Voodoo people was made in 1994. i dont know what he used but he did a serious job.

  • They should seriously alter copyright laws and allow sampling

  • They did alot of covering up in this...

  • massive respect!!

  • Dude, you are THE MAN!!!

  • outstanding

  • Amazing

  • oh.. my .. fuckin.. god. this was truly incredible. they way you did this was truly masterful. and it goes to show the innovatism liam had when he produced this track. omg. i never knew it was thru such hard forms of sampling. its truly a masterpiece when u portray it like this. WELL DONE SIR!!

  • Quality!

    Big thumbs up!

  • Dude this is genius...u have talent

  • Comment removed

  • kinda monotonous and repetitive

  • great ;]

  • This song is too vodoo for all the dislikers

  • how the fuck Liam did this 16 years ago?

  • @stoda85

by the samplers, hardware samplers, of course.

  • @RanLaurel Yes, exactly - a room full of kit - most of it MIDI-ed together. (+ Lots of patience, talent and huge reserves of energy!)

I almost find it depressing how easy it is nowadays ;O)

  • @stoda85 imagination and passion bro;)

  • @stoda85 some Samplers and muuch much time and muse :)

  • @stoda85 there were programs that did exactly this back then believe it or not....there's also hardware from back then that did this stuff.....MPC-60 (1988) would be one item that was able to do it and give you that "saturated" sound due to it's low bitrate. couple in maybe an Akai S612 (1984) for some of the sounds due to the fact it had an analog filter. Or step up to the time period with like an Ensoniq ASR-10, and an Amiga 1000 and you're set.

  • @stoda85 like daft punk's homework.

  • @stoda85 Akai MPC2000

  • @stoda85 And on an Atari ST!

  • @stoda85 Liam simply has a Sampler instead of his head ))

  • This really makes you appreciate the original.

  • Just one word...GENIUS...

  • I love both the prodigy videos that you made mate. I would love to see some more! Also I can see how easy it is to edit and arrange the samples (once you have them of course) on a computer, but I really wonder how it is done on the equipment Liam had back then.

  • one word to describe this......WOW!
