So...James May shot the Eleventh Doctor after putting on the space suit and traveling a few decades back in time? THAT'S Moffat's big reveal! Mystery solved!
In reality in Earth's gravity it weighted almost 100kg (over 200lbs). I'll be surprised if anyone could make two steps on Earth in it not losing balance. It was heavier than the heaviest suits of armor, that replica obviously wasn't. Shame, because I would love to see someone trying to walk in full gravity in the real thing.
these replicas cost about 10000$, but somehow they don't look like the real ones. Maybe because they're not pressurized, they are a lot thinner. But when you look at real space suits, they look bigger... mhh dunno
if you like this you should check out, "when we left earth". its a documentary by the discovery channel of all the NASA missions from mercury all the way to the STS missions, with commentary from the astronauts.
It was a good show - I didn't know the U2 jet even existed until I watched this, but I had heard of the Vomit Comet...New series of TG started on the same night too - series should be good :)
anyone know where he got that suit???? need to know!!!

Is it me, or did it seem a bit odd to be meeting a guy in a dusty parking lot and be asked to get into underwear?

The Apollo moon missions were faked in a studio. The evidence is crushing. Here's a link to a partial summary of it.

I think that not the man but the woman should wear the space suit.
I want to see woman's Apollo space suit appearance.
It expects it of the next broadcasting.
