We won first place in the mardi gras parade in 1970 my dad was there! We should be nationally recognized like mardi gras, dont know why we not! watch n youll see! no love for Philly I guess! The one dancer appears to be imitating Bugs Bunny. He is just leaping around and flailing like an injured seagull. I would bet he is Irish. I am. That is how we dance. And that is only after we are sufficiently oiled up to prevent immediate recognition of incipient back injuries.

@haglock1992 spoken like someone who was born in 1992. Others may sound better to your ear, but that doesn't mean ya'll didn't get the swagger and sound from the N'Orleans. It's fine to have an opinion, just make it at least somewhat valid if you're going to post it.

BTW I've been to Philly, and south Jersey, in fact my band was on Youngblood Records, which was based in PA, and never once did I hear brass and feet stomping around like in my sister city. Sorry bro, you're on the east, deal.
