I have two seeds that have sprouted now. I started both indoors and just put them in the soil. So far so good. Does anyone have any tips for me as to how to fed the plant and general care for it? Thank's

good day ..... every avocado season, we bought a fruit of it, put in freeze and make some mouth-watering dessert .... after eating avocado.... i always let the seed of it on a pot just cover it with soil ..... miracles do happen, at first of planting it, all avocado seeds died, then after the next season, i have grown 5 , but sad to say , one one survive for another year, and the next succeeding year, I make it up to plant them on one container at a time... i will upload some video in here

I hear when they are frozen that, that greatly reduces the chances of the avocado germinating!

i have 4 avocado seeds (hopin they germinate soon) all from differnt brands of Avocado XD hopefuly none wer from a frozen batch :'[

I bought 2 avocado trees, came about two feet tall. One has died, the other is growing slowly. I love avocados and buy them at peak season and freeze them whole. I'm gonna start shoving them seeds all over my yard and see if anything happens. I have three in glass jars and they just always rot!!

Nice to find other avocado enthusiasts here!

I myself have 2 avocado plants in my kitchen. They reeeaaaallly grew in slow motion until they decided to explode, in comparison to before, their productivity per time unit rose with about 50000%

I used to just put avocado seeds in my backyard after eating an avocado and a few of them took. One did really well and now it's about 12 feet tall and growing. Every time I tried growing a tree I bought at a nursery it just st there and didn't grow...until it eventually died.

I have three seeds starting in water. After about 2 months one has finally sprouted roots, i'm waitinf for the other two to follow it's lead. Any tips?

I have the same problem just wait not all avocado seeds grow at an equal rate but your likely to have 100 percent germination rate like I have I grew 4 seeds they all grew the fastest growing one grew a foot during the winter but a little kid killed it but now I have 4 trees and predict my biggest seed will grow to a huge plant once it begins germinating.
