Nice! I have the gel colors too- but the paste food coloring you get from craft stores REALLY gives you bold and vivid colors without adding so much food coloring. You should try using a bag ( a decorator bag or a ziplock back snipped at the bottom corner) to squeeze out the icing more neatly.
