  • duh !

  • Show us Under neath the computer desk you might have the Original computer

  • make it like a fish tank

  • but dosent liquid like mess up the electronic magnents? and wont that make it to were your computer canot work anymore?

  • reines pflanzen öl :)

  • run 3dMArk Vantage for one day on it and you can fry your Frites in it :D

  • Is cooking oil not conductive?

  • @elel70 nope, you can also do it with destilised water

  • im sure the cpu he used cost 30 $ :P

  • @lelos14 cpu z says it's an athlon 64 X2, which is indeed around $40. I wouldn't be testing with an i7 either lol!

  • yea u can oc ur pc and put some potate = chips :D

  • Very safe if there is ever a house fire... oh wait.

  • NOOOOO! Why do people keep using VEG oil. After a short while it goes manky and even when fresh it looks like you just pist in your case. FFS use mineral oil, it's clear and lasts longer too.

  • wont this well... fry your system ? lol

  • is vegetable oil an insulator? cuz can I put vege oil into my computer?

  • something less like pee?

  • Can't you get specially coloured oil to do this now? its different, but I'm not a fan of piss colour, nor am I fan of cleaning oil off my hardware.

  • the display is not even connected to the pc LOL

  • @subtotal17

yea it is.. he has a gpu

  • YOur screwed if that shit leaks out.

  • opsss im not do it with my new super ultra computer im have 12ghz xDDD :-)

  • Nette idee^^ Wenn dein CPU dann doch zu heiss wird kannst du das ding auch als ziemlich coole (und auch teure) frittöse verwenden ;D

  • pretty cool but i can see some problems with it. How cool does it run?

  • I know this can be done.....

but dude, wheres your monitor cable? i cant see it coming from the back fo your monitor.

  • Correct, No cable :O

  • no there's a cable dumb ass its been hidden probably to underneith the desk they are working on, then back round the front to the pc

  • go get the sand out of your vagina, dumb ass.

  • umad?

  • no. :D I just tried to think of a cool comeback. that was the result.

  • I'm thinking about doing this, installing the OS to a flash drive, so I don't have the hard drive noise either

  • That will probably be very slow, since right now usb 2.0 transfer speeds are like 3mb/s both ways.

I'd hold off on doing that till Usb 3.0 comes out since they'll have transfer speeds comparable to modern day Hard Drives (1.5-3 Gb/s both ways)

  • @AdelineProductions

I just wanted a project to house a spare mobo and power I had laying around, I already have a very good desktop & laptop, this mostly for show, but it doesn't matter, when I went to test, the mobo was dead.

  • b/c of the oil?

  • no, because I didn't have any kind of housing for it. It was sitting out on my desk for a few months with no protection/grounding.

  • You can't bring that PC in Colorado.. lol It'll turn to grease.. :p

  • Oil cooled computer + Overclocked cpu + Potatoes = Fries :D

  • This is the most expensive cooling...you need 4 bottles of oil and after 8 hours you need to change oil because oil tempriture raise up...

  • can this do damage

  • can the power supply be submerged too?

  • No cause that has a fan hole and it'd be splurting oil everywhere through that hole (thats what she said)

  • i found out you can and that it helps circulate the oil

  • Why Oil ?

  • because water is conductive and oil isn't

  • aro oil^^ Makro = nice

  • woa nice..dun really noe how it works though..piece of advice, dont smoke anywhere near tat thing lol

  • Mineral oil work better and it look more like water but nice project!! 4 *

  • at first i though he put his mobo in the actualy oil XD

  • cool but when it gets cold enough the oil will solidify and i dunno the fan still works!

  • holy shit he did, how teh fuck does the computer run when u put oil all over it?!?!

  • oil doesnt conduct electricity.

    go figure.

  • Neither does water.

  • thats relly cool

  • i made a pc with paraffin oil in an aqarium it is clear and not yellow

btw the kit u used will dissolve
