  • For people who think that only the fennec foxes can be kept as pets you really need to do some more research because ther are many diffrent breeds of fox that can be kept as a pet.. fennecs are just the most common

  • An animal as hyper as I am...I NEED one of those

  • Would rather hear the animals than the music.

  • looks like a peaceful place... cats dogs fennec humans living together... nice

  • my chinchilla's name is Gizzmo too! Funny!...

  • wow :-)

  • The real question is...do they make good pets or are they just so adorable that you cant help but love them?

  • He is really hyper! All the other animals are just chillin' and he's buzzing around like a little bee!

  • you're got puddles of cute all over the floor.

  • I'm not a big fan of tiny, "yapper" typed dogs like Chihuahuas and such, but this little fox is too damn cool. I gotta get me one!

  • i want a pet fox! and a german shepherd i already have 1 cat i love animals!!!!

  • they`re illegal in my state =`(

  • Great animals, but the enjoyment of the video was less than complete 'cause the little guy is obviously lookin' for Momma Fox.

  • Oh ffs, get a life.

  • that thing at start reminds me of momo is avatar legend of aang...

  • looks like little foxy is gettin the hang of playin around with other species. good thing you have so many pets, it'll never get bored with all that energy.

  • "The Fennec Fox is considered the only species of fox which can properly be kept as a pet.

... However, they are extremely active, and need outlets for their energy; they may exhaust other household pets with their playfulness."

    Just had to.

  • @Jupiternessness Thankfully, a fennec's energy only really lasts for a few hours or so a day. Most of the time they're a lot less hyper, and more manageable.

  • @Jupiternessness That may be true, but I know someone who has three "fur farm rejects" who are tame as kittens.

They do steal food though. You can't put ANYTHING down in her house. They stole the "sock" off my cellphone.

  • @Jupiternessness

kittens are more than enough match!

  • i see you havent done much research on fennec foxes. They can be kept as a pet as any dog or cat can and lives much longer in captivity. did you also know there are on a endangered species list and it will be the pet population that will be used to re-introduce them to the wild some day in the very near future. I didnt think so. Dont rant just to rant.

  • You have a lot of pets.

  • legai in florida with class 3 licence. legal in about half the country.

  • It's been two years since this video was posted; little Gizzmo's probably grown up a bit by now. How's he doing?

  • You're just ticked off because YouTube keeps deleting that video of you putting kittens in the microwave and watching them explode.

  • Now you know that a video of that would get massive views.

  • haha that is one tiny pup

  • so cute.....

  • Gizzmo is so precious and so are all the kitties❤ Bonnie is one special dog:)

  • sooo cute:D:D:D:D

  • Adorable!

  • quite the adorable menagerie!

  • They are very cute!

  • What a great video. It made me laugh and it made me happy. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. 5*

  • This is the sweetest vid I've seen in so long. What a wonderful experience for all the animals and human companions.... just fabulous!

  • This video is so beautiful 5*

  • christ, shut up. I bet you wouldn't say that about the dogs and cats.

  • Zoologists have determined that this particular breed of fox is domesticatable, and they probably got him from a breeder. It's not like they caught him in the desert and told it to be their pet for the rest of his life; that just doesn't work. He was bred as a pet, raised as a pet, and he IS a pet. :p

  • Your a nut case. How about go and find someone who owns a fennec fox and see if they look unhappy. I have never met a unhappy one and i have seen plenty.

Did you know that 75% fennec foxes dont even make it to 3 years old in the wild? However in captivity at least 10-12 years. I think were doing them a favor by keeping them. It will also keep them from going extinct as they allready are on there way.

  • dogs and cats were not originally pets either. they were bred to be pets.

  • All those animals. It looks like a very happy home. Good people here!

    Thank you for sharing sweetkitty.

  • I hold , it's not right to keep such creatures as pets . Nature does need them surely more than us .

  • This was so precious! I loved watching the adorable little fox playing with your cats and dog and I thought it was funny when he'd walk on top of the dog. So cute!

  • Sooo... cute!!!

  • Hes so cute!!! But foxes r wild animals and belong in the wild(But if you let him outside somtimes, have toys for him and your other pets dont try and hurt him, hes fine!)

  • priceless video, all your pets are amazing, from the smallest to the biggest... LOL at the dog randomly checking out what was going on around him like a mom with her kids

  • OMGGGGGGGGG, I love that video, it's sooooooooo cute )

  • you sure have a lot of pets !

  • I see no one has responded to a comment asking what kind of dog Bonnie is.

She actually looks like a blue merle Australian Shepherd to me (blue merle is one type of Australian Shepherd coloration- they can also be copper merle, red merle, or black tricolor, and occasionally you'll see an all black or all red one, but they are rarer than the other types).

They are wonderful dogs. I have a black tricolor Aussie, but mine is more likely to chase small critters than allow them to climb on her :).

  • Absolutely adorable. I couldn't believe he ignored the cat offering himself up for play, though.

RE: Fennecs as pets, YES, they are a wild animal. But with proper diet and stimulation (lots of toys, climbing and digging places, and interaction with people or dogs/cats) they thrive in a home environment. Keeping them outside is much riskier because if it escapes it's enclosure, you'll probably never get it back.

  • VERY cool

  • I didn't know foxes could be kept as actual pets.

  • Foxes can't. The Fennec Fox is part of it's family though they are much smaller than an actual fox. They are legal in some states. Foxes however, aren't legal anywhere. =)

  • a horder

    how it starts

  • I can't get over those huge ears! SOOO adorable! It's nice that all of your pets get along. ^_^

  • That is.... tooooo cute.....

  • DARN IT, it is too cute! Curse the cutness!!!

  • cute video, adorable pets.

You dog Bonnie, look like a big poofy fluffy stuffed animal toy (CUTE!) is she a collie?

what kind of cats are those?

    well they are adorable!

    the baby fox too.

I love it when different animals get along!

  • aiiiiiii sooo kawaii!!! Gizzmo FTW! I love Fennec foxes.

    Bonnie is qiute patient XD

  • the fennec fox is so adorable

  • they are legal in NY(you need a permit) and that person has alot of cats

  • well you have fat on the brain. STFU nube!

  • That had to be the worst comeback I have eve heard in my life.

  • Wasn't as lame as your original insult, which was completely unnecessary. :P

  • that is s0000000 cute i want a fox!!!

  • Totally adorable. I don't know if it's legal in NY, but I'd love to have a pair of these cute little foxes. My cats aren't young, though; they might be a little much for them.

  • how many people need to ask what this song is before the one who posted the vid responds?

  • I've always been interested in having a Fennec. They are adorable. I'd learn a lot about them first though and educate folks on them.

  • thats cute , but nature needs these fox more than you . it'd be better not to own such animals as pets.

  • nature has these foxes, pet fennecs are basically domesticated and are seperated from wild populations. in 20 years when they become more commonly bred and more artificial selection takes place i doubt ull make the same argument

  • I never heard of fennecs as pets, so I read the Wikipedia-article about the Fennec. A fennec cannot be considered completely domesticated. They are extremely active as you can see in the video and still have a lot of wild instincts. Not all of them housebroken. And they may exhaust other household pets with their playfulness. As you see in the video.

  • I suppose Wikipedia is what you consider good research? Look carefully: the section on domestication lacks any citation whatsoever (minus the chihuahua part). Don't blindly believe everything you read on Wikipedia. You want to really know what owning a Fennec fox is like? Call a breeder or a vet.

  • Maybe you are right regarding Wiki. But I wouldn't even blindly believe a breeder. Fennec is a wild animal, because you can't domesticate an animal within only one generation. I'm living in the Netherlands, maybe therefore I'm much more critical. By the way: fennec foxes are NOT legal in approx. 23 US-states, as Arizona, California, New Mexico.

  • So you being Dutch makes you more critical?

  • Even worse: I'm German.;-) But wait,I don't want to criticize all people who have fennec foxes and are taking good care of them. They are really adorable. But I cannot quite enjoy seeing them in houses, cause fennec foxes are still wild animals.

  • Huh? He was brought up from your cats? What`s that mean?

  • possibly means a female cat nursed and brought him up , just like a kitten . female cats tend to do so.

  • so cute!!!

  • Can You walk those on leashs, like dogs?! =]

  • Oh my God, this is the most adorable animal... I want one of those now!

  • wow the crazy cat lady from the simpsons..... j/k their so cute.

  • Where id this at home? how many cats do u own and where do u live? i dont agree with owning a fennec fox, but its interesting to see how he/she was reacting.

  • Wow that was more fuzzy cuteness than I could almost stand. Never knew foxes made good pets. Cool vid

  • gizzmo owns!

  • wow how many cats does this person have?

  • are fennec foxes alowed in california and what states can you have one.

  • i donno if fennec foxes are legal in California but in the states that allow them u must have an Exotic pet Permit to keep the fox or other animals that are not domesticated

  • it's a baby fennec fox

  • This my be a stupid question.. Does he come to you when you call his name? Like a dog or cat.

  • Sweet,,, and cool

  • What song is playing during this video, please? thanks.... her is very beautiful song

  • what song is playing during this?

  • aww how cute, the dog seems laid back, and i like how gizzmo tried to stay on his tail

  • the cats(not the kittens) seem to be making a fuss over him

  • Goddamn, doesn't Gizzmo ever sit still??

  • i love fennec fox

  • i want a fennec fox :'(

  • as we say in Brazil... " Eles são amiguinhos " aahahahaah

  • What do you have, 7 cats? Sheesh >.< Even though your lil' fennec fox is adorable! <3

  • Cute. Where do you find this strange music?

  • You have...alot of cats. 0o

  • is that a dog?

  • wow, i wish i was able to keep so many pets! =) does little gizzmo EVER get tired??

PS: honestly, people! "it's scared! it's unhappy! it should be freed!" i mean, have you ever seen a frightened animal before? (apparently not...) look at some other videos round here, people keep foxes in cages! go and attack those, please!

  • He's a lucky fox with all those friends ... I hear they can easily exhaust other pets in the household so he should have his work cut out for him with ;)

  • that has to be one of the cutest fennecs out there! :)

  • Aw, so cute!

  • is that a baby fox or a messed up rat?? well what ever it is its cute

  • ~2:28 is cool. watch the dude's (the dog) gaze when the other dude (fennec) jumps on top of him. It is like "WTF"

  • aw he so small i want im but mine is bgger and is still cute although she likes sleeping on my head so it looks like i have a pointy hat on he ears stick out XD

  • YOUR A MEAN PERSON POOR LITTLE FOX

  • WARDER67

  • Gizzmo is born here, he was rejected by his mother and was brought up by one of our cats.

It would be totaly impossible to let him go now as he is used to both us and the other animals.

If he was scared he would not react as he does.

When an animal is brought up in captivity it will adapt to its suroundings as thats what is knows, to a fox its really not a problem.

By the way the mother would have killed him if we had not reacted. :-)

  • Mini guizzmooooo !! ^^ so cute, and I saw the kitten playing with him too, just adorable ^^

  • Aww, that is like the cutest thing ever!!! :) You seem to have a house full of life.. take good care of them.

  • That's so cute how Gizmo keeps using Bonnie's tail as cover.

AND, fennecs have been kept as pets for a very long time now people. This is nothing new.

  • is that dog or cat ?

  • sweet :))

  • CUTENESS OVERLOAD! AH FUCK, MY EYES ARE BURNINGZ!!!11!!!oneone

xD OMG... Look at the widdle thing! It's tiny compared to those cats.

I'm so gonna try and get one... After I've bought about a hundred books on them. x.x

  • LOL. It's getting owned by a bunch of kitties too... I feel sorry for that big dog, Gizzmo seems determinetd to either sit on it or eat it's tail. xD

  • awwhh..cute

  • Great camera work! Really put you in little foxes perspective :) A++++++++++++ video!!!!

  • They keep these loyal animals in cages and torture them as they think the longer it takes the dog to die the better the meat. Those who care please write the above emails

  • Its so sad there are so many cruel and uncaring and unfeeling people. I am sure we all have to face judgment some day.
