There is an Indonesian cover for this, putting Japanese parts and Indonesian parts in the middle of the song but I'm sorry to say that the singer's accent was... horrible. Nothing beats original stuff, huh?

I am a big Mayumi Itsuwa fan, eventhough I don't know a word in Japanese. I gathered that most of her songs are sad love songs, but this one is differernt. It is joyeous, full of youth and very sunny. Mayumi is indeed a talented and great Japanese artist/singer. She is truly gifted. Very much a Japanese equivalence to the famed Carole King. In fact, their styles showed striking similarities, despite the fact that they are in two languages separated by two continents.
