  • very good tutorial, thank you :)

  • what does create a minty track in an instant of massive mean? and where is the "play" button in massive?

  • @reesespeices696 create a MIDI track with an INSTANCE of massive.

  • @reesespeices696 LMFAO!!!!!!!! dying lmfao

  • I appreciate this tutorial, but I WISH it started with setup. I can't even sound out of massive. I just downloaded it. I would have started with. BASIC SETUP. does anyone know how to run it through an M-Box?

  • You're a boss.

  • I downloaded the Massive Program and I downloaded Live but for my life, I can't find a tutorial on how to either get the things I make in Massive into Live or use Massive as a VST plugin, any help would be appreciated!

  • finally a high quality recording for this.. good easy to listen to voice, and a fucking amazing tutorial too!

  • i just installed ableton live 8 and i dont know nothing about this. i dont have that massive thing... i mean i dont have nothing in the plug in devices. what do i do?

  • @censurado618 type into google 'Native instruments Massive' and figure it out your fucking self perhaps?

  • @leakeg thats how ppl help themselves in australia eh?

  • Why do all programs, require Third Party add-ons or plug-ins just so you can maximize the use of it? I mean I've already spent enough money buying the original program...

Also is there an alternative way to not use Third Party Plug-In's and still get an amazing Dubstep bass sound?

  • @ubl33du

Unless you're a god with 3xOsc, not really. There are people who can, but your money is better spent on a proper synth meant for stuff like that. A good starter synth is z3ta+, but for high quality shit you need something like massive or nexus. There are some good new ones coming out too that are cheaper (NI razor). I'd just go straight for massive, because it could be a standalone synth easily

  • you are really good at this

  • Can anyone help me for the @1:15 part. I can't see the line about the octave on the bottom.

  • Great english accent he's got. Matter of fact no nonsense.

  • i tried this once when i was sober earlier today. I had dinner and ripped 2 cones and now i'm trying again, but this time taking notes in a notepad document. I got to part 6 last time and my bass started to sound a lot worse than his. Here's to hoping I finish it all this time.

  • do you think i should stop watchiong cause im using fl stuido?, i think it will be confusing later on

  • Amazing tutorials! cant get enough of them...... your fu*kin good. respect!!! :)

  • @allyw22

Download the demo from the Native Instruments website then trial it while sitting through the tutorial. Then if you like it I would suggest buying it for a reliable tool to produce with. Crack software means crap software in most cases, its just not worth the hassle which you are currently experiencing.

  • @thesoundtutor i simply think he installed it into the standard cubase folder and not in the vst folder.. thus ableton cant detect it..

  • @thesoundtutor hey mate thanks for the tutorial but just got a quick question. when i go into the Global page i cant seem to be able to click the init patch button and the Randomize tab next to it is different. i dont know how important this is but pls help...

    thanks in advance :)

  • @allyw22 If ally is correct and you are using cracked software, you'll need the .dll file to use Massive as a plugin for Ableton. Look around the net for some or PM me.

  • @allyw22 If TST is correct and you are using cracked software, you'll need the .dll file to use Massive as a plugin for Ableton. Look around the net for some or PM me.

  • @allyw22 it's only the bass part of dubstep you're stuck on! funny.

  • how do I use Massive within Ableton?

  • @BYonical did u find out how to use massive with ableton iv dwnloaded it put the dll file into the vst folder but nothing happpening i need some help with ableton reconizsing massive or even how to install massive did u find out in the end mate?

  • Hey, can you help me out? I opened a new ableton project, but i dont understand how to create a midi track in instance of massive or smth like that. its about 25-28s??? Please help

  • @timmiakas you must click the Plug-in devices button to the left, then Activate, and browse for the Massive folder, and voila... just do what TST ;) hope it helped

  • Finally someone has taken a stand with a proper MASSIVE dubstep tutorial!! Max respect man! And thanks for recording it in HD too. Big difference. And respect for the good mic sound quality too. Looking forward to the rest.
