From personal experience as a vocalist, on your own time, you should re-record this. But speed it up a little if you can and make the vocals sound a little more like John Mayer. That will help with those extremely hard to reach notes. Otherwise not a bad sound my friend. Keep it up.

It was very enjoyable listening to you play this. I'm a purest when it comes to covers, I feel if you play a band's song, it should sound like the song/version that made it popular. And for that reason, I'm giving your vocals 5 stars (although at the Hey Dad part, I thought you were gonna blow an aneurysm). The guitar work on the verses was spot on, however, during the choruses it was choppy...4.25 stars.
