  • clean your plastic over your gauges lol

  • YOU HIT VTEC!! wait... thats hondas

  • @funnyface680 Toyota has VVT-I

  • Speed sensor

  • your gauge cluster looks to be malfunctioning at the time the problem occurred. if it never happens again, dont worry about it, if it does , you will need to gauge cluster assy

  • lol your engine light is on too

  • reset it!!

  • its obviously trying to tell you something... check the engine!

  • reset it

  • it might have been a knocked speedo fuse.

    is it still working today?

  • @The420Guru

Yeah, never happened again. But I haven't had to disconnect the battery since.

  • too fast i konw it is a toyota but that dos not mean go 200 mph !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • YOUR SPEEDING! :O

  • Too Fast Too Furious lol

  • theres this fuel pumping thing in the car, so that means when you go faster it pumps faster. i think the pumping thing in your car has a problem. that's what is happening to our car

  • If anyone gives a shit, it just started working one day going 70 down the highway, I look down and its working. So i dunno, weird shit.

  • haulin ass ! lol

maybe you should try a new cluster

  • LMAOOO U GOING TOO FAST BUDDY!!!

  • @xzeen69x lol

  • Just add it to the other Millions of Toyota's under scrutiny lol. High and mighty Toyaota finally getting a reality check

  • is there anything you can do in that car to make a gauge sweep to see if it moves at all when the rest of the gauges work?

  • I was curious that myself but I dont no of any way personally, Chrysler/Mopar cars all you have to do is hold the trip reset and cycle the key.

  • i know our durango does something like this with the speedometer right after the battery is disconected but it goes back to normal when you get up to like 15-20mph and did u try openind the gauges and putting it back at 0 to see if that has any affect?

  • its a toyota that y lol hehe

  • @naterade21 for your information, i turbo-charged a camry just like this one and it stayed in good shape for years with no fuel upgrades whatsoever, meaning that i was driving lean all the time, AFR= sometimes 18!

so yeah, being a toyota is something u brag about :l

  • wooo hhheheh try reseting the computer, disconnect the battery for half a minute or so then connect it again, also, when u turn the ignition off does the speedo return to zero? also, does it make a snitching sound when u drive the car? like a small grinding sound

  • Tried ressetting it, speedo never moves on or off, and No noise i can tell of coming from speedo or car?

  • @94EglVisionTSI i'm talking about sound coming from the speedo, i'm thinking maybe it got stuck and when u drive there should be a small grinding sound (small mechanical failure), anyways was the engine light on before u had the problem??

  • Yeah i no what you mean like speedo gear or any noise from dashboard, but there is none.
