Maybe Peter McKay should give them the $70,000.00 he spent on a photo op. The 90 million over 3 years was $9000 per person per yr. to pay for education housing utilities, roads etc etc. In an isolated community were everything cost twice as much . They certainly didn't manage it well ?Could you have done better.? This is an immediate problem and should have been looked into long ago before it became the disaster it is now. Harper knew about it and choice to and ignore it and lie about it.

None of this needed to happen from day one way back 200 years ago. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that blatant racist comments support the Harper government's action--blaming the victim. Mr Harper has shown repeatedly that he lacks compassion. He is a man apparently who has never made a mistake (if you discount his championing ecocide.) For Harper greed is more important than people. In fact, Attawapiskat proves he doesn't care for people at all. Money is the issue; not people in dire circumstances.
