  • Does that mean that anyone tuned into 88.1 can hear what I'm listening to ?

  • stupid haircut?

  • Completely useless video.......Thanks Best Buy

  • @GeekSquadHQ would geek squad install it for u if its needed?

  • i got a 1999 and a 1988.will it fucking work??

  • guys a cunt.

  • Hello Agent Smith.

  • THERE IS A PS2 IN DER PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON DAT

  • Show me how to turn your MP3 player into a car

  • how fucking retarded must you be to drop your ipod in your car and step on it.

  • @laxwarrior64 hahah straightt

  • Do they make cars with MP3 player / iPod stereos by default in cars?

  • they need to make a usb input compatible for android

  • Cool, but do you have the wireless FM transmitter for regular mp3 players, with mini usb port, not ipod port?

  • Hey Agent Smith, is your hair serious?

  • omfg he said ipad 2:10 hes a futurologist

  • FILO FAX

  • Anyone else hard?

  • how am i suposed to put 88.1 on to my car is fm or am and how mo suposed to put 88.1 to mp3 charger i have a iLuv car usb charger will that work

  • Is that Jonah Hill?

  • This video is like a giant middle finger to anyone who doesn't use or like iPods.

  • yea, thanks allen!

  • Agent smith is a fish!

  • It's things like this that make GeekSquad a joke. No one can possibly be dumb enough to not know that their car has an input. Also, unless they want to shell out for me to have a mercedes then this is pointless. This doesn't help anyone that wants to hook up an mp3 player to an older stereo unless they really never heard of transmitters.

  • you call yourselves geeksquad for giving out that info ?

  • ........Mr. Anderson....

  • geeks!

  • I usually just hold a boombox on my shoulders when i drive.. sound quality is great!

  • @Codester916 ha ha ha, lol :D made my day

  • @HQelectronicsreviews Glad i can make a difference lol.

  • @Codester916 you still bumpin that boombox 11months later?

  • The FM transmittor gives a horrible quality (too much noise). I would use it only in emergency.

  • They forgot to mention the cassette adapter.

  • @ThePersianMAMBA most cars nowadays dont even have cassette players (excluding mine)

  • @Devin032 hah true...i guess im thinking a lot of cars have cassette players because mine also does.

  • THEM TWO HOMOS ARE FAGS

  • cheesy!!!!!

  • is that a c class Mercedes

  • you should set the frequency to a popular radio then when someone drives past the song changes

  • they're just makin a video to help answer questions (and promote bestbuy) for prob. all you watching this so why the fuck r yall bein so mean and childish?? (you know that guy prob. doesnt act like that in real life lol)

  • @LUCKas1212 ikr...these people r dicks

  • no winder he works there

  • I'd rather have seen just the Auto tech talk and have the "agent" not even be apart of it. Hell, even if it was a knowledgeable auto tech who was his boss asking the kid questions would've been better. I guess in most real world situations you're going to have dumb (sounding) people who wouldn't even know how to change their oil so ya gotta play it down for them.

Let the geek agent stick to his computers (and his hair) and let the knowledgeable staff talk.

  • hi, i'm agent cowell... now lets talk about being mean to people

  • nice ps2 in the glove box

  • obviously you can tell the last option is gona be the most expensive lollll

  • Nice hair Agent Smith.

  • A fat ginger with a mo-hawk

  • @botpunk

    bahahahahahaha

  • what about the usb-port?

  • wow a agent with a stupid hair cut

  • Fm transmitters have major issues, if you live in an area where many stations from neighboring towns like to pump 100,000 watts into it (why, i have no fucking clue, one of them doesn't even need it, since they JUST launched an online simulcast of it, but, whatever)

  • i m usin a car cigarette lighter to play my music with pan drive ...............

  • Will that transmiter the am/fm one would it work if i tuned it to 88.1 on my 1993 nova? [pretty old school car

  • What kind of car radio was that?

  • DEGEN DE1125

  • i want a simple mp3 player that has no screen, album skip, track skip, play/pause and stop.... that would be pretty intuitive i figure but... nothing like this exists as far as i know

  • put it on a regular stereo is it still gonna be the same?

  • ps2 @ 2:02

  • @U2ber4lif3 like wth he plays with the ps2 when he is bored??lmao, great eye.

  • most homosexual mohawk ive ever seen

  • If you have a tape deck, get a 10 dollar tape to aux input adapter at walmart. Problem solved.

  • lol pause at 0:15

  • 1800 fagsqad

  • geeksquad charges fuckin $40 for S&H...

  • geeksquad rubish

  • LAMO HI IM AGENT SMITH reminds me of matrix

  • this is uncomfortable viewing. both men just need to relax and chill out

  • i lROFLED when he said stepping on my ipod O HELL NO

  • wtf is with his hair

  • this is retarded. Sorry but all that is a common sense stuff. Just another cheap ad for best buy! If you have an such high end stereo in your car, you don't need the hassle of connecting your mp3 player to it.

Why don't you show how to connect the mp3 player through the CD-changer input, without spending $140 for the special bracket? That would be helpful.

  • Only stupid people rely on the "geek squad" hahahha

  • Lol I have their warranty plan for my ipod

  • where can i get a fm transmitter?

  • @wweuniversewwe basically any store on the planet

  • cant wait to get my car

    reallllllll soon

  • fm transmitter is not all that great but you can still listen to music

  • @princewingdog If u Have a Tape Player Then Use That and get the tape converter thing But I use A VERY CHEAP Fm Transmitter And It has No Static. Check All the Buttons On ur Stereo and find aux If u Have It then There will be a 3.5 mm Hole to put ur mp3 onto

  • they sell the tape adapter from walmart for 10bucks

its from philips, and rated one of the top tape adapters for ipod since it has low sound noise when not in use

  • great, all i need now is a car :))

  • me too :(

  • @bmw40kmh lol

  • @bmw40kmh lol

  • usb is better than aux in !

  • Heres my question. I have my car stereo, but it is not MP3 compatible. or at least i dont think it is. Can I still hook it up through 1 of the above ways without having to buy a whole new radio

  • All you have to do is get an FM transmitter to do it for the radio.

  • FM transmitters suck though, you get static

  • you just need to find a totally blank channel first, with absolutely no static

  • I had the exact same problem, everything i found seemed to be an iHome or an iSetup or whatever. Thing is; i had a Zune. So i went to best buy, and bought a FM transmitter, don't' get any that are battery powered, just get one that plugs into a cigarette lighter, and into a headphone jack. easy and pretty reliable, i've only had mine for about a week but i haven't seen any problems with it!

  • ipod, ipod, ipod. I'm sick of Apple and "i" anything. Apple is such a rip off with their proprietary, planned obsolescence, overpriced crap. There are so many cooler, less expensive and more functional stuff out there. Consumers are stupid.

  • I agree!!!

  • "i"

  • this only tells about iPad that about Zens Zunes and GoGears?

  • apparently agent smith doesn't own a mirror

  • @YouEatTurds dude needs to lose weight too

  • agent smith funny

  • auxiliary cable is best quality for mp3 players

  • agent smith hahahahahha

  • FM transmitters are not the way to go.. very poor sound quality and at times static will occur. Best to use a headphone connection, if your car does not have this option then go with the direct auxiliary hook up, which there are tons of companies that offer these converters online for reasonable prices. Don't choose these FM transmitters, not the way to go.

  • why is it more safer to look at the head-unit rather than the ipod in its dock?

the moment you take your eyes of the road to look at anything its unsafe

  • nice mohawk >P

  • i still need help, i have an expedition

  • Comment removed

  • Ok gramps

  • does anyone know what kind of car is that?

  • thats a Mercedes CLK-class from some time on the last five years

  • I feel bad for anyone who takes their car into Best Buy to have anything installed.

  • For the best Idea on options & prices, go talk to your local Best Buy Autotechs. Drive around to the Install bay, usually in the back of the building. This way they can see your car & show you the options. Tony from Stockton, Store #528

  • To answer cost questions. Every vehicle is different, but here is a broad idea:

Add an I-pod cable to an aftermarket deck, ran to glove box. Labor $19.99, usually the cable costs around $19.99.

Install a WIRED FM Modulator (like the I simple FM adapter) depending on car is $59.99-$79.99 Labor. We have different Wired FM modulators ranging from $34.99 to 80.99. Depending on the car extra parts may be needed (antenna adapters). The 80.99 AUX unit sounds like HD radio, no static, or distortion.

  • Shure be nice to have all these vids sent to the stores, so we can loop them in our video displays.

  • Is there a car stereo that supports apple lossless and normalization?

  • whats the car?

  • Comment removed

  • Still wish CircuitCity never closed, used to love that store.

  • price range?? anyone?

  • awesome!

  • agent smith, matrix ripoff.xD

  • the double headphone is better that radio shitt

  • how much does it cost to do this? just the installation.

  • nothing dude, buy one fm transmiter starting at 0.01 cents free shipping at ebay lol i bought mine at 5 cents free shipping and love it :P

  • works for psp right?

  • Hey Rufus From SF4!!!!

  • it doesnt really help

  • dont buy the fm transmitters they suck. no matter how expensive.

  • Does the iTrip work for any mp3 player?

  • girls ,,I got my hair fixed

  • Thank Allen!!!! XD

  • anyone notice why the aux port is in the dashkit for the double din radio? and not in the radio itself?

  • dont know why, but its usually like that in most cars, Ford Feiestas have them nere the handbreak.

  • since when does Tobey Maguire work for best buy

  • since he quit being spider-man lol

  • anyone notice the ps2 in the glove compartment?

  • lmfao dude ur right

  • does any1 know where you can get these auxiliary audio input things i live in canada and how much are they

  • you are all idiots

  • now can i conect the mp3 player to bmw e46 cassette player, if i buy a dice willl it worck? i thin the dice worcks only on bmw cd player system? deos the dice vorks on cassette player.....?

  • I just use one of those cassette tape things with the wire sticking out. (I don't know what you call them)

  • I imagine that stereo having a built in hard drive, thusly making an mp3 player pointless.

  • theres a PS2 in the glove box.

  • hahahha

  • wow agent smith ..

  • The car doesnt really look like it needs an mp3 player :P

  • that really kinda helped lol thanksssss

  • cool. thanks geek squad.
