I wonder if there would be any way to mount a 6s Hyperion 2,600mAh to a kyosho based rally car or buggy.. I just made quick calculations about theoretical battery power:

2x 7.4V Lipo, 4600mAh, 20C = 1361,6 W / 1545,6 W (nominal 3.7V / peak 4.2V)

VS T-Rex500 battery:

6s 22,2V Lipo, 2600mAh 35C = 2020,2 / 2293,2 Watts (nominal/peak)

I've thought about getting a buggy, had Kyosho Landmax many yrs ago, I know electric has power but still going towards nitro.. somehow more authentic to me.

@BigJay604 -Are the diffs similar in EP and nitro? -Meaning that there's three diffs, center/front/rear?

Also fiddling and aftercare with nitro cars.. well, I like to fiddle with things, adjust everything and don't mind doing maintenance after a run. I already got all the neccessary chargers, power supplys that cost the most in EP hobby, in the other hand if they're basicly the same otherwise (excluding motor type) - would be cheaper to go for EP. With nitro u can drive all day long tho...

you can buy the kyosho ve it comes brushless rtr or you can built your car as you like.my car  was gas powered and i converted it to electric.

its not fair at all.The kyosho 28 gxr engine is a crap engine.What about using a real Race nitro engine in the car and a better driver.

you should change the name of this video and call it Brushless vs GXR28,couse that aint a real gas engine.People with a little experince knows what im talking about.

i think the nitro car is better for the dirt...u see this electric car with a lipo and after market motor..compare to that grx 28..and that motor is a piece of shit and they look about even..

pinion 15, spur 48. the lipos are working together so 2x7.4 lipos=14.8v. the motor mount is from the novak convertion kit. i hope i helped you.
