Myles was always a great guitar player. I wish they had continued with the kind of sound they had on Nature Of the Beast, which was what set them apart. Even if songs like this one seem a bit Spinal Tap and plodding, they did themselves no favor re-inventing their music.

Myles and the crew can still kick ass--saw him in Green Bay two years ago. He came on stage with a Les Paul and a pair of Ray-Bans on--looked like Roy Orbison out there. Great show--was one of Jerry's last playing drums

I was at this show. 10000 people and the house was rockin. The filmed this as a part of a show with The Steve Miller Band.  Steve was in Michigan and everytime he had to throw it back to AW he could never get the town name right. One hell of a show.

thanks for that information! I saw them in 1983 at the Montreal Forum, and it was also an unbelieveable show! They could easily still sell out stadiums if they had the right exposure because they still have fans of every age group and anyone who hears them becomes a fan

i saw april wine's 'whole world is going crazy tour'... in london ontario...i believe it was 1976...maybe 77... things were a bit fuzzy then ... "Heart" opened for them ... first concert for me ... amazing!!!!

THIS CONCERT should be the LIVE DVD that April Wine is promoting. The Powerplay tour was AMAZING!!! The old video of Nature of the Beast doesn't show April Wine at it's finest moment.

wow...what memories!!! I was at this show!! It was the 3rd show I ever went to, If memory serves, Eddie Money opened the show???.....I think I still have the ticket stub!!!...anyway, very cool, thanks for putting up the video!!
